Help!!! Dance Valley accommodation??

Hey all....

Situation is, we 2 Aussie girls have plane tix to Amsterdam on Friday, and tix to Dance Valley on Sat..... Problem is, it�s the one place we didn�t get around to booking accom for cos a �friend� told me a while ago we could stay at his place and he�s now gone back on that - but such is life!! There�s NO affordable accom anywhere in Amsterdam available this weekend......so basically if we don�t find a roof over our heads for 3 nites we won�t be able to come to Dance Valley It won�t be the end of the world, but it will suck a bit

So, since we�re totally desperate here I thought I�d post on here and see if anybody has any ideas of anywhere cheap to stay that actually has beds this weekend....or if anybody wants 2 Aussie house guests for a few days - we�ll throw in cooking, cleaning, and whatever else u want!! *lol*

Anyways, if anybody can help out in any way possible, drop me a pm....thanks heaps in advance......hope to see y�all this weekend!!!

we were lookin around bad aswell, but eventually found Marnix Hotel.. two star, seems ok..

ITs quite central aswell.. we payd 860 euros for 3 ppl 7 nights, so 40E / night.. thats about how cheap accomondation in amsterdam comes..

Just google for "Marnix Hotel" and youll find their contact info.

ok i found something but it isn�t in the center of amsterdam. It is a town near amsterdam called heemskerk. there is a youth hostel there. the site is www.stayokay.com prices are 23 euro for one night! By train it is 35 minutes from amsterdam. But remember the train will cost money. a 2 way ticket is 7,5 euro. The advantage is that the train will stop at the station where you must take the bus service to dance valley. The dance valley bus service is free of charge. After dance valley the last train will be leaving at 00.20

well this is better than the hostel i advised. 40 euro is a nice price and you dont have to buy train tickets. and also you are in the centre of amsterdam at a nice location

We're soooo interested!! We've checked the other places suggested in this thread and they're all full for this weekend.....we've tried everything we can think of.....so, if it's really not too much of an inconvenience we'd love to take u up on ur offer!! We soooooo appreciate it!!! Besides, we're tired of sleazy euro guys anyway, so might be fun to have a girly weekend *lol*

If strictly necessary I could bring you to his place, since ihis house is only 10 miles away from mine . And lots of space in the car too, so no worries about leaving eary and miss carl cox (mean reasing why I travel by car that day .

as far as i know the Etap Hotel at the airport still has rooms. 55 Euro each, 2-3 ppl occupancy, clean, no luxury (better than youth hostels...).

and considering i�ve been to shitty hotels in Amsterdam (Kerkstraat for 60 Euros, not worth it) and 5-Star-Sofitel in DenHaag (no clue, what they�ve been counting as stars...) for partying besides staying with JP and his manic dog, it�s not a bad solution.

Airport to Amsterdam Sloterdijk, where the shuttebus to DV starts: 12mins by train, something like 2 or 3 Euro each way.
