Work
If it was up to me I seriously would not work a single day in my life. Its just not me. I cant do it. Being at uni at least you can bum around and kid yourself that at least you're planing on doing something after you graduate.
So who feels my pain?????? who would rather sit on their fence at home and watch their grass grow instead of subjecting themselves to the wretched evils of work.
Amen my brother!! I feel your pain. I think i am in the same situation as you are.
But I feel the darkside calling my name. This force is growing stronger day by day.
Hey Sid
i hear you make a good security guard
I reckon it's harder work actually finding a job than it will be once you get it.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmm do i detect a case of i had another massive weekend and now i dont have any energy to do anything for the next weekitis.
Work is good but of course you have to like what you do otherwise it would be very boring but im sure sitting at home all day would be even worse.
Your probably like me..a mutant and also doesnt know what he wants to do in the future so its hard to get motivated about certain things (except prog & trance of course).
My advice is to stick with it (whatever it is) because you have a long way to go in life and you dont want to burn your bridges at an early stage. Who knows mate...Sid and Mark. The new WWE tag team champions of the world
All excited today cause I got a call saying I got the job I wanted... And now I just feel totally deflated cause I find out that it only pays award rates.. which is totally shit.
Looks like i'm still looking for another job, but I spose its better cause I have a job, be it a shit, while I look for a better one. Which is better than a week ago.

I actually like working, it gets titty boring when there is fuck all to do, since im like jnr IT dood im learning sheetloads of fun stuff so i get to play with really nice toys like my fave Twin Xeon 2.8Ghz server.. muhahahaha....
Madis... how do you support yourself? Or do you work?
Who here is a centrelink #? LOL show urself!!! REVEAL YOURSELF!!!
//me plays darth vader theme in the background...
Well if we all didn't work it would be pretty boring, cause wat about those 1PM power lunch meetings, the hot secretaries, the sexy nurses, umm wait... wrong examples.. but working does have its advantages...
the one i can think of most is respect, self and from your peers, friends and family....
There is a saying:
Find a job you love and you will never work a day in your life.
(or something like that)
The problem I have is the jobs I think I would love eg. Beer Taster, FHM Talent scout etc. are either taken or really hard to get.
So I share your pain and your hate for work S_madis which is why I am undertaking my 5 year of full time study. I know I will have to work one day but not just yet
Use your job to build capital. Use your capital to invest in various things that can give you more money - property, shares & derivatives, your own business, etc.
Use the spare time in your job & life to read and learn about how to do these things. There's no such thing as "having nothing to do".
Depending on how successful you become in these things, you may eventually no longer need to have a job to get by.
The earlier you start the better.
There's a lot of money to be made out there!

mate if i had my way i would do exactly the same thing - however if i did i'm sure that a lot of the time i'd spend with mates, playing computer games, or simply studying things that i find interesting
