Forward Progress Fridays @ Eli's Cribb! This week...
This Friday at Eli's Cribb we've got a great lineup with a new guest and two returning guests to FPF. Opening, Dale Grebey and Tim Correy of Sceneorlando.com will be returning to the decks with some of the best in old/new progressive and trance. In the middle slot, Law (Yesmate Recordings, Extract Recordings), who is a resident at Orlando's Red Square and Dragon Room, will be playing some bangin progressive and old school trance (a whole lotta Hooj Choons!). You may have heard Law play for Material Thursdays with DC Rice at Eli's in the past with his breed of filtered house, and he'll be returning to do the same next Thursday.
On another note, I would like to thank everyone who came out last week and made FPF a huge success. If we can continue with numbers like last week, we may have a future at Eli's Cribb. Thank you all for your support!
Lineup:
Dale Grebey & Tim Correy tag-team 9PM-11PM
Law 11PM-1AM
Legato 1AM-close

Eli's Cribb . 114 N. Orange Avenue, Downtown Orlando (just North of Washington by Thee Grotto)

Can't you do anything about age restrictions?
sounds like fun, I'll have to check it out sometime once I start exploring Orlando. Gotta get nice & comfy in Savannah first though!

James will be spinning as well?
Makes me wish more.

In addition to the great lineup we've got in Eli's Cribb on Friday night, I've now been told that it's Eli's birthday, so it should be an amazing party. If you haven't met Eli, you should. He's very much a hub for the local scene, not to mention a real stand-up guy.
Also, we've now started having DJs out on the front porch. This week, the opening DJ is none other than my girlfriend, Läri Blue. If any of you TAs are into DnB at all, she plays some really pretty stuff. But watch out...she can get downright dirty with the best of them!

Just about your only available option for the progressive flavors in Orlando, at least on a Friday.
Thanks to everyone who came out to support last night! Stay tuned for details on the upcoming weeks at Eli's Cribb, which will bring you Tim Correy and Dale Grebey from Sceneorlando.com as well as Andy Hughes next week, and in two weeks, your very own ex-dj, James Dunham!
I know that a lot of you Orlando TAs are under 21...wish I could help out there, but any support for the local progressive scen is desperately needed right now. We've got a lot of VERY good DJs around here...as good as some of the big ones that I've seen many of you flock to. Andy Hughes is a prime example, and arguably one of the best prog DJs I've ever heard.
BTW, if you're in front of your computers right now, check out my Internet radio show, Euphoric Excursion, live on www.pulseradio.net. For the first two hours of the show (8-11PM EST), you'll be listening to Alex Sabre and Kevin Keith, two rockin' local trance DJs who are residents at Red Square every Saturday.
