Sean Miller - "Swells"

Ive been hearing this production from Sean for quite a while now not even knowing it was him. He confirmed with me this track will be released in the near future on Stereo. Just checked out the latest top 30 on the Stereo website and wouldnt you know........ already at #11 and hasnt even been released. Its a brilliant track, more on the progressive side but has elements of the iberican/tribal as well. The synth melody that builds and fades througout the track is what makes this song sound so unique, and its just a matter of time before this explodes. This has and will be the new Boa-Redux anthem for sometime now.

When I told you it was closed, it was. It was open earlier in the night. You missed your chance!

Yeah, from about 12:30 - 3:00 or so it was Sean Miller & Matt Coleridge doin a little head to head action. Nice stuff indeed

I was at Boa on Saturday and heard Sean's remix of Work to Do (sander kleinenberg's tune for the progressively challenged). That song was highlight of the night...kick ass tune as well.

Im sure you've heard his top notch remix of "In Stereo" as well. I'll never forget the moment he dropped that to close his set just before Chus & Cebellos took to the decks

What a party.

You'll have to come to Boa on a Saturday night for one of Sean's opening sets to experience this track. Not yet released, cdr only at the moment. He'll be spinning his first "extended" set sometime in September, where im sure he'll include this gem. Ill keep you guys posted.....

I can't believe you don't know who Hansolo is! He was the first one to rhyme TOTA with Choda back in July 2001... those were the good ol days..

One time, Swamper was considering turning TranceAddict.com into a Backstreet Boys fan club - there was a lot of support for the change at the time - but it was Hansolo who threatened to feed Del his own balls on a big wooden spoon.

And in regards to LKD, who's pretty reserved these days... well it was Hansolo who put a stop to the bombardment of naked pics posted in roll call threads, where LKD would point to his penis and reply with "LKD + 1"

Thanks Hansolo - we'll forever be in debt.

i know who incognito Brett is

6 or 7% of my posts tend to be sarcasm, and purposely very dry undetectable sarcasm, at that.

Wait! If your sarcasm is the dry undetectable type, then for all I know, you could have written the above reply in such a sarcastic manner ... in which case, your 6-7% figures could be totally inaccurate of the truth! Maybe 9 or 10% of your posts are sarcastic! I know, it's crazy!!

It's funny that you call Hansolo incognito Brett - we used to call him Incognito Burrito for years, cause he'd always share his Taco Bell with us... post-digestion though

This shit is too funny. In no way do my intestinal problems relate to Sean's great music. I'd like a topic all my own, Sooper and DigitalMP, see what you can do. Thanks.

So essentially, I can call you Brett's Sooper Carl, with extra sour cream?

That's Mr. Brett's Sooper Carl with extra sour cream to you - but sure, why not...

Sean, I'll admit, I really don't know you except for the few slammin set I've heard you drop at Boa...I think 4 or 5 of them. I'd LOVE to hear your productions. When and where will they be available to the public?

I know for a fact you've heard his "Work to do" remix, as well as "Swells". They're definately tracks that when you hear them, you immediately think BOA. From what i remember of my discussion with Sean this past Sunday, was that Swells was to be released on Stereo Productions late fall.

I remember back @ the Record Release party w/ Chus & Ceballos thinking that Sean's new work is going to be amazing and so far I've been completely floored by it. "Swells" is truly an awesome track and I remember quite clearly the "In Stereo" remix. I can't wait!

On another note, I've been away for a bit and I remember Carey telling me you've been under the weather. Hope you're feeling better!

Posted by beatjunkie on Aug-12-2004 20:21:

I'm thinking...

Sean should post a 1 min clip of his track so

A) I know to listen for it when I venture into the unknown (BOA)
B) I know if it is something I will keep an eye out for when I am record shopping.

What do ya think?

Jeff, you know my taste in tunes....will it be a hit?

I know you'll love this one Matt. Without a doubt. I actually think it would be a great idea if they put the tune as background music for the Boa site actually. Its IMO the "Boa-Anthem".
