Liveset Rips vs Vinyl Rips
I say that the majority of tracks sound better live. There are a few where instead you miss some elements that make the track but for the most part I'd say that when the liveset version is a good length it makes tracks better.
Tracks like I'm Alone (Ronski Speed Mix) were just so much better live than the actual song sounds. Even when the crowd isn't in the background and the DJ doesn't use a load of effects I think that songs are just much more energetic when heard live, even if just through an MP3.
I prefer the live rip mainly because of the crowd.
The crowd just makes a good song great.

I really don't care.. If the track is good it's good whatever the source is..
Live.
The varying bpms and tracks before/after the tune really have an affect on how the tune sounds. Plenty of mix-cds give certain tracks a certain feeling/aura about them, yet when listened to by themselves they feel as if they're lacking something.
Venyl!!!
option 4. when played on id&t
they have that compressor tweeked up to extreme settings
Vinyl. I just don'tlike too much live events...

Definitely live-rips, because there's more action around it, a nice tune before, nice one after it. It sucks though when there's just that one track in the set and the rest is all crap, then I'd rather have the vinyl rip, and take the live-factor for granted.
how interesting...most people who posted says LIVE but more people who voted says VINYL
