I work with Reason 2.5 and got a wonderful problem of not being able to mastering and mixing by myself has im too perfectionist....

can someone help me ...

Tips...or tricks....would be appreciate...

Hi mate...I work with reason 2.5 too....and I definetaly thinks that its good sequencing software, but not mastering software....If you know what I mean. It can be mastering software only for ears which have top experiences with mastering....and this is the main thing which you know to have....good ears and good experiences, only with this thing you can make good mastering.

These are the things for good mastering, I mean :

1. Good soundcard ( 24bit / 96KHz )
2. Good midi keyboard...I prefer with external midi fx
3. Good Software

P.S. : Dont end with rendering wav file from reason, thats only the starting phase of mastering...try doing mastering in for example ( CUBASE SX, or NUENDO ) it has nice final sound....

BTW if you want to know more of mastering, try to read some books, there are many books which have released many of sound engineers....

and remember....mastering is one of the hardest phases in doing music...

dont really need a keyboard, i dunno how to use one, and i dont even have one
since hes using reason, he could use the one in the program

and to united_djs, the secret is, just practice
always helps, u can learn everything on ur own if u just practice, keep experimenting with devices in reason, and figure out what they all do and so on... keep making tracks just for the fun of it, in the end it all helps out
