Question Which Internet browser do you use?

Recently at work I've had SO MANY spyware attacks and security problems with IE that I've decided not to use it anymore for security reasons. I also found a lot of other problems I've been having with it and as a result decided to "explore" the world of Internet browsers.

I'm using Opera now and I have to say it's pretty awesome, no problems to report so far...what do YOU use?

IE 6.0.2900.2096 (SP2)

I've used Mozilla for a few years now , now I'm using Mozilla Firefox. Although not perfect, It's an excellent alternative.

I highly recommend everyone to switch away from IE to any browser that is more standard compliant (Firefox,Opera,Safari, etc).

Why Switch?

For those of you using IE 6, example why IE needs to go (warning, your browser may crash because of 11 simple characters .. ):

Ofcourse they are making money off it , tons of money ..just not directly.

They've used the desktop monopoly to ship the browser and gain monopoly on browsers, they've used this monopoly to expand in other areas of the market by locking users in to this one important piece of software, killing off competition and thus crippling innovation. When was the last time you saw new features added to IE? .. The damn piece of crap is 1998 technology. They have a monopoly, they don't need to innovate! why waste money? (till now.. )

If they control the web users like that, they simply don't let standards grow , setting their own "standards" . Standards friendly towards their other products like development tools, languages, Windows, etc.

true, they don't make any money on it, directly. BUT IE is standard in windows and therefore used in 90% of all the computers in the world, and since IE is more or less internet standard people get dependent on it, sites are customized for ie, not w3 standards... and from now on you will not get the newest IE if you don't upgrade your OS, IE7 will not be avaible for any other os than longhorn. and it will according to some information have some "breaktrough technology" (probably some way of making the internet even more destandardlized), which will force people to upgrade to longhorn when it is released. and so on, microsoft are smart, they have an agenda all the time

1) Because they did not have an applicable project to apply the money to
2) In light of #1, Microsoft announced that they will be paying a $40 Billion one time dividend, and with the other $35 Billion they plan to institute a share-buyback program.
