what kinda friends do you have??...
all of this talk about dating and other stuff got me to thinking about how i spend time out with people.
i don't really have any guy friends that i'll like have guys night out and stuff with. where we all just go out drinking or whatever. i have a few good guy friends, but we're not super close or anything. i kinda wish i had some more good friends like that where i could just go out and chill out and hit on girls whatever with.
what kinda friends do you guys have? i'm saying most of mine are actually girls and i always end up dating their friends hehehe. i know you hear about the girl that's one of the boys, but maybe i'm the freak opposite!!
so are you a girl or guy...and are your friends mostly girls or guys..
<--- female.
I grew up with boys. I like them better than girls most of the time. I have more guy friends than girl friends you could probably say... As far as doting goes, being friends with mostly guys is an advantage for me because I wont date a guy that Im not already friends with or have seen on a friendly basis.
see i don't know what it is. if someone like rob lived here...i'd think we'd be crazy and go out looking for the ladies hehehe. but just me going around campus or something...i don't really feel like i have a desire to get to know guys like that...maybe i just put any effort towards it.
You cant go out "looking" for friends anyways. You just... happen upon them. Ya know?
ok last post them im gonna get breakfast hehe
*cliff notes at bottom*
I have my main friend = my brother. We do everything together. Hes very athletic as well and we run and hike and do all that crap. ALso he has a motorcycle (04 R6!) so we ride. Well play Diablo II or watch anime or BBQ and drink and every time is good. Weve gone through a lot of shit together, and I think everyone should have a brother they can be best friends with. He lives 7 minutes away which rules. hes 3 years older than me, but we look like twins and finish eachothers sentences. Its just great.
I have another friend who lives 100 miles away, that I ill with on weekends because there are some other guys up there too he lives with that im good friends with. Theyre all good guys, and we mainly spent our first 8 months knowing eachother staying up until 4:30 EVERY MORNING playing FIFA and drinking Guinness. The three of us were drinking about 20 pints of Guinness a night. It was sweet. Now we just watch movies, go party, sing irish drinking songs, whatever. On our hangover days we watch movies and drink to kill the hangovers. its a lot of fun.
Then I got my last two friends (i have a total of 4 friends lol) who live 40 miles away and we hang out 1x a week on thursdays (tonights gonna be wild). Ones insane, and so is the other one. One has a bike so we ride. its fun hanging out with insane people.
*all in all* All of my friends are people I can and do have deep conversations with regularly until the weeeee hours of the morning. We also party like madmen and do well in school. Its an intense group, but we do everything as hard as we can, so it makes it a lot of fun.

| Originally posted by Floorfiller well yeah i know. i guess what really kinda worries me is that all of my really good friends are moving away this summer. i mean seriously 5-6 good friends moving. so i kinda feel like i'm just out there and don't really know anyone. just makes me think about it. i'm gonna have to try extra hard to be friendly at school this year hehehe. but that really usually just equates to me flirting with women |
Sucks, but I guess the idea is to keep a positive attitude about it.
Orbax no offense but you seem to a buy a guy loaded with money

I'm a girl's guy... typical Metro
I'm not a guy's guy. Most men feel threatened by me.

the rest are just friends i have so i have company to drink with..just mates..there friends but they just dont mean as much. not sure if anyone can relate..i think the girls and guys are equal i know just as many

The worst thing about being in the military is that the friends you meet eventually move on to another place, or you do. It's easily the worse thing about it.
I've made some really great friends over the years - most recently, my friend who I went to about 22 different countries with (Thailand, Egypt, France, Poland, etc...) - we were best friends for 3 years - hell, I'd take a bullet for him and he'd do the same for me. Now, though - he's out and living back in the states. I'm in the middle of a war. A year from now I'm a free man, and I may live near him, who knows - but it just sucks making great friends like that and having to give it up because you're working for the man.
Whenever I think of friendship, I remember something from one of the Lord of the Rings books. It puts perspective on life, I think:
I sit beside the fire and think
of all that I have seen,
of meadow-flowers and butterflies
in summers that have been;
Of yellow leaves and gossamer
in autumns that there were,
with morning mist and silver sun
and wind upon my hair.
I sit beside the fire and think
of how the world will be
when winter comes without a spring
that I shall ever see.
For still there are so many things
that I have never seen:
in every wood in every spring
there is a different green.
I sit beside the fire and think
of people long ago,
and people who will see a world
that I shall never know.
But all the while I sit and think
of times there were before,
I listen for returning feet
and voices at the door

We'll find you a nice Italian girl to make Shado jealous.

Mine are pretty much all gone now, but some of the best times of my life have been sitting at a cafe or resteraunt sipping on wine and discussing the mysteries of life (women mostly). Ahh, memories. |
Most of my friends are guys, they all tend to be BIG goofballs.Which is always fun to hangout with them.I dont have that many female friends cause the tend to think me and my group of friends are inmature for some odd reason
.I guess you can say my gf friend is one of my best friends.
And my number one friend(the one i spend the most time with is)my Gamecube

Most of my friends are female, but my two closet friends are male. Ive known my best friend for 11 years and we do almost everything togther, and i have known my other best friend for about 6 years, and we spend just as much time together, the three of us.
I have many girl friends that i usually turn to for girl advice.
