Hey,

I've created a mix with amateur tracks.
All the producers told me that i can use the track.
So here's the mix;

tracklist;

Fresh amateur mix part 1

1. Underwater - Undiscoverd Places ( original mix )
2. Elude - Fareday ( massive remix )
3. Solid Globe - Sahara ( dana o's bootleg mix )
4. Convergence - In Dreams
5. Echano - Tranquility ( summer 2004 rework )
6. Oceanseeker - Protect me
7. P.E.G. - Second Form
8. Armana - Ethereal

All tracks are made/remixed by amateur producers.

cool, didn't expect some tunes would be that good when everything flows.

6. Oceanseeker - Protect me
has a very nice melody and pads enjoyed this one, production wasn't perfect, but it didn't spoil it for me

mixing as far as i know and can tell is fine, but i am not a dj

EDIT:

I hear a lot of "pumping" while my track is playing in the mix.. it was a loud track so that is probably why.. be careful when you compress an entire mix.. it is sometimes better to compress or limit each track individually before putting it in the mix to get optimul volume levels..

@alanzo : Yeah i've used a limiter because the tracks where so different in volume. Maybee the next mix (fresh part 2 ) i can change it...

I always like amateur tracks in mixes. So that's what I like in this mix. Yeh, tracks often sound better in the mix, this especially counts for the Massive Remix of Fareday and P.E.G. - Second form.

Beatmixing and flow still needs practice, but i like the mix anyway

A fresh mix, now with a cue file

An interesting innovative mix with fresh and excellent tracks, sound, and mixing. A really good job.

Here's a cue file i composed. (credit Skully for the form.) Just cut and past but make sure that the audio file name and the cue file is: Mr. Marcellos - Fresh Part One

I mention this because the mix is downloaded with a different file name. Or change the cue file text as you wish. Burn away!

Hi mate. just listened to your mix now and just wanna say nice one. i think it is a really cool idea getting some of the amateur producers tracks together on the same mix. i really cant wait till the second one and just wanna know if u will u be including any of Vadim Zhukov's productions or carl b - all day. Anyway overall

mixing 7/10 - generally the mixing was really good, although on some of the tracks the mixing wasnt perfect

tune selection 8/10 - for being an amateur mix, it should really be 10/10, but in terms of other mixes that i have heard recently 8/10 is about right. the tracks on it are absolute quality and just wanna say well done to everyone's tracks that are on there. i especially liked tracks 6 and 7 *Oceanseeker - Protect me and P.E.G. - Second Form(. Really really do like these track and would definately put them in my current 10 ten.

overall flow 8/10 - i think that it did actually flow pritty well, although i know u did have some problems with the levels of some of the tracks.

overall i really enjoyed this and would really love the oportunity of doing a mix like this myself. nice one Mr. Marcellos for this mix and i cant wait to hear the second one
