is this possible? and if so, does it make sense to buy one? why not? i want one.

something tells me that they are uber expensive... but you can find places which will record a vinyl for you - so you can get all the latest dj releases on whitelabel after putting the mp3 on cd hehe

Yes, there is a difference between a vinyl CUTTER and a press, cutters take a blank record and cut into it the songs (I think this is the same as it being an Acetate, as that is the material?) But a press is how you get a full quality disc, caz acetates are shit after 10-15 spins or sumtin like that.
