SignalRunners - Recluse 160kbs NEW LINK

S I G N A L R U N N E R S - - - R E C L U S E (1 6 0 KBS MP3)

Hey folks! The SignalRunners boys are back at it again, bringing you something a little bit different than our last two tracks "Recoil" and "Flutter"

This track is more of a hard-prog style UK trance. It's got enough energy to go around and hopefully you guys can enjoy it as much as we do!

Any comments about the track would be greatly appreciated---

Thanks alot folks,

Alan & Andrew
AND IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!

herculeees herculeees, it works
quality is excellent, bass is louuuuuuuuuud , very nice
not my style of music, but its very excellent, hehe no suggestions
i can see u guys are pros in ur little studio
surprised ur not signed yet, or maybe u are? i just missed it :S
well excellent work guys
peace out

PS: make some melodic trance tunes, i cant wait to hear

awsome sounds. very cool idea, uv made a really really clean, but also really hardcore track, shame about the lack of melody, but thats just the style, and if ur into this style, its very good. when it all kicks off at 4:50 ish it sounds wicked. the only thing i dont like is some really high pitched saw that sounds like its a bit lonely, needs some detuned frineds! The break is very nice in terms of the sounds but i dont know if it suits the style of the track, well it does in that its a unique and experimental style, just sounds maybe a bit out of place. but thats just opinion.

Because of the high quality, these comments are all nit picking, the track is superb, but there isnt much to say critically, which is why im nit picking so much! mite as well get it perfect

cheers dude

Dancing Dude

very funky tune.

cool for the clubs and such,

i prefer flutter .

Thanks alot for listening guys!! Yeah it's a bit different, we wanted to hit the UK club scene mostly with this choon We love this kind of music though...like David Forbes & Mallorca Lee-- they're absolute lush!!

Sunquest, we are signed-- just did a remix for Mark Sherry, the test press came out today (our first vinyl!! sniff sniff) and we're gonna have copies in our hands soon enough..its been getting some cool support from Matt Darey, Lange, Jurgen Vries, Darren Tate and a few radio stations like Beat 106 and West FM..so gettin a wee bit exciting!!!

Also Recoil and Breathe come out on as EP soon enough...then maybe Flutter afterwards but thats too far ahead in the future just now!! Hehe

Thanks again folks for listening and the feedback, we really appreciate it

Andrew & Alan

Edit: btw, doesn't Darren Tate = Jurgen Vries??

Posted by SignalRunners B on Aug-06-2004 15:57:

So he does! Lol...we got a mailing list with some comments from the guys and it mentioned both of their names, (BTW I'm the stuipid one out of signalrunners)

Thanks for enjoying the tune mang

the first synth at the beginning of the track is really weak
and doesnt sounds good

but in the continue he is sounds much more better

anyway keep up the good work and goodluck with your vinyl!

thanks Oktan I'm glad you liked it!

very high production.

i like the glitch effect on the sample at the end of the breakdown. it might be my speakers but i think the mastering maybe a little flat? maybe i have my bass turned up to loud. if its not multi-band compressed, maybe that would do the trick.

i like the energy but i think it could really scream and go from set-filler to floor-filler by making some of the synths stand out more

Love your guys stuff! Still love flutter a bit more, but ill definitely give this one some air time!

Was any thread ever posted for 'Recoil'? Can't seem to find it.

cheers.

Posted by Alan Nimmo on Aug-09-2004 12:39:

cheers guys,

I cant remmeber what Andrew did to the track before posting, but generally we leave them to be mastered by label/vinyl cutters so theres every chance thats just the file that came off the sequencer lol - just shooting for a balanced mix is all really needed at this stage

Recoil was posted under a different name DjCommisad, about a couple of months ago mebbe? Anyhow, cheers for all the great feedback

Alan

Posted by SignalRunners B on Aug-09-2004 19:43:

Thanks for the comments guys

Yes, I hope its flat hehe-- signalrunners productions are straight off the sequencer, no over all eqing, no compression, nothing on the entire mix- like alan said, we try to leave it up to the vinyl engineers

Thanks for all the comments/kind words/and support !!

BTW: Recoil was posted earlier..."Alan Nimmo Pres. Reticulum - Sonic Expander" .. the name was just a test name until it got picked up, but its full name is "SignalRunners - Recoil"
