A special thankyou to everyone in the forums!

hi guys, i was just thinking, and i wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone in here for all the kind and constructive words of advice. I have progressed so much since i started using these forums, because i have met so many people who do what i do and who can relate to my passion for trance and music. As of yet, i havnt met any one who produces the way i do, and whos even into trance the way i am, its like its just considered not real music where i am, which is a great shame. So like i said, to meet people through TA who do share my interests and hobbies, is really really great. I look forward to making my new tunes, just so i can share them with people on here, and every time i do, every post i get in response, i get that little bit more inspired and progress that extra little bit. Ive learnt alot from here, and im really thankfull to all of you for that

By the way, sorry if this seems an inappropriate place to say this, but its really the only part of the trance addict forums that i use, and so the place where i think its convinient. also, while im here, i need a production alias. i see all these cool names (icone, elude, signal runners) to mention but a few... and my name feels like its out of place! hehe So, for those of you who have heard my music and are familiar with my style, see what you can come up with! would be great to hear your thoughts.

A nice thank you to everyone on the boards is always a nice thing to throw down...this thread should be resurrected every 3 months or something :P Or make it a stickie so people can vent every once in a while hehe

i started here 1 year ago, with Fl crap(uh i mean my production were crap not FL ), i made alot of great friends, and learned alot, it was and is certainly a graet experience .

Well mate, a lot of this holds for me too. And that's one intention of this forum I guess. I'd like to say, you're welcome, and that you have a great feeling for trance as well, and have helped me with my tracks and inspired me. Thanks for that.

But I'm sure there's a lot of people here who'd like to thank one each other for contributing in the way they stand in the scene as they do now, and the result would be one big ass licking thread like this one.. so get your ass into that reason of yours again and go make us some great trance!!

ps what's in a name, mike foyle does it, I couldn't use mine because you guys can't pronounce it properly lol

Yeah, i spent ages trying to think of a name for myself, probably over a year, but nothing really suited so ive decided theres no point in making something up for the sake of it. Im sticking with sam lyons. Dont think theres anything wrong with mike foyle. And it probably sounds even better to forigners mate so i wouldnt worry to much.

And a special thank to you Mike for all the good music you bring =)

well it's a great part of the TA-forum this place, all the people here deserves a big thank you for listening to all the tracks and submitting own great works

about the name, imo mike foyle sounds great...no cheese over it and easy to pronounce

Damn straight, I wouldn't be where I am today without this place!

Oh no, you don't need a production alias. Your own name is just enough.

ok maybe my name will do then its just because its my own name and ive heard it for 19 years it just sounds so boring to me now! would be nice to be known for who i am anyway, instead of hiding behind and alias. i just wanted to buy a domain to redo my website, wasnt sure what to get!!! mikefoyle.com?! hehe i duno... foylee.com perhaps?!

well.. mike foyle sure beats "jean-luc wu" as a producer's name ... I think mike foyle sounds good actually and I think you should stick with it

see to me, jean-luc wu sounds like a wicked name!!! but thats coz i havnt heard it a million times before! perhaps ill leave my alias for now then, i just bought www.mikefoyle.co.uk and www.foylee.co.uk ... hopefully they will be working later today or tomoro

The big thing about this forum for me is the honesty and quality of advice people give.
Rather then just saying "OMG this suxx0rs" ( )people are more likely to elaborate on what they think could be improved. And the quality of advice here is much better then other producers forums I've seen

but for real.. this place has been awesome and still is and i'm really glad to be a part of it.. there's no doubt i would not be where i am today without tranceaddict

I haven't been on for terribly long, but have learnt a heap from you guys. Thanks! I've posted 4 tunes on here now, and because of all your feedback and all the great information in the producer thread, I've improved considerably. But of course, there is a hell of a long way to go!

One thing about producing is it can be really hard to finish a tune; but this thread makes it worthwhile to put that extra bit of work in.

and as for producer names.... well "pho mo" producing under the alias "p.e.g" has got to be the crappiest combination i've ever heard of. lol! i mean, what the hell is a "p.e.g"?

names hmmmmmm....

they all sound stupid cause just think of all the crappy names arr when u really think of em u know like "Dogzilla" and "4 Strings" these are basic concepts that just fit into your head since there music is good u also tend to think owha, wicked name, also. so the name doesnt matter

I've been around here for a bit, but I've never really said much. I've also been on alot of different forums and I'm liking this one the best. There are so many good tunes here, and people are actually willing to listen to each others tunes and give some honest comments on them. Which really seems to help alot of people. You guys will be seeing alot more of me now
