A lot of us will be in Miami that weekend to see PvD at Space on the 4th. More information...?

I was gonna wait til the official flyer came out, but here's the details:

September 4th; Alpha Bar Orlando; Corner of Washington and Orange.

Opening DJs Myles Hie and Phranke Phlux.

$6 entry; Show starts at 9:30 or 10:00p.m. (awaiting some finalization), going til 2:30 a.m..

If you're still in town, it's a cheap and intimate opportunity to see a 22 year veteran DJ who rarely plays Orlando.

Aw man, if it's trance I would be there, but 9/4, that's the same night as PvD.

Hardware is the shit! Funny thing, while you guys go to see PVD "Did he come out with something new yet" I got a crew of models near by doing an event here in Orlando and I know for a fact they�re going to be pretty bored around oh 8:30 or so. Last I checked there was close to 1000 models and talent here in Orlando. Needless to say I�ve talked to a couple of them so it would be cool to be greatly outnumbered with tall blondes in high heels.

Since you brought up the fact that PVD hasnt come out with anything new lately, what has Hardware done recently that should make us all want to go see him instead? Do you have some recent playlists from his sets, or any new Hardware tracks that are worthy of you posting here for us to listen to? This might change peoples mind a bit more than you claiming a bunch of hot chicks will be there. Anyways have fun at the Hardware show.

ps - Please do us all a favor and take some pics of these models you speak of.

I'd like to note that myself and REFLEXsounds are two people with the same company, so as not to confuse anybody.

As for why Hardware over PVD:

PVD is playing in Miami which is a 3 hour drive from Orlando or Tampa. That means hotel or a long drive. Orlando is considerably closer to Central Floridians. If you live in Miami, I don't expect anyone to drive up.

The Hardware show is also considerably cheaper.

Hardware has 22 years of DJ experience so he's on par with PVD's skill level and access to new tracks.

It's an intimate setting which allows you to better interact with the DJ than any venue you'll find PVD playing at.

Regarding whether he's done anything new, I can't link to anything directly but you can view his information at DJ Hardware. He's been on a steady world tour for most of this year.

That was not to be taken as a personal attack on PVD. Personally im a very big fan of him. Me being in Orlando that�s a very long drive down there and im sure I will want to have a couple drinks which leads me to have to get a hotel. I would love to see him but $$$ is always a factor. As far as the girls go there will be the dig cam. In full effect at the party and we will post the pic's on the website "www.REFLEXsounds.com.

I really didnt take it as an attack on PVD. I felt that, if you provided us with some music, it would be a more effective way of getting people to attend the party, rather than saying there was going to be a lot of models there. My girlfriend and I probably would not drive 2 hours to see hot girls but we would drive 2 or even 5 hours to hear some good tunes. I have not heard a set from Hardware since I bought an old mix tape of Huda Hudia vs Hardware back in 96. I have heard from people he is good but ive yet to see him live. Normally, I would take you up on that drink offer, come out and support this show, but Suzy and I are flying back into Tampa that same evening after a week of being on the road at the international DJ expo in Atlantic City, NJ. Since I, and a bunch of others who are attending PVD, wont be able to attend, do us a favor and post a review after the show. Tell us some of the tracks played that we missed, let us know about the highlights of the night, show us some pics, etc. This way, next time Hardware plays, more of us might be inspired to go and see him.

Wow. I'm not even sure what to say. We are on a trance message board...not sitting pool side. When I drive to a show it is for the music/DJ...not for the potential of someone baring skin. Tall blondes in high heels have what to do with trance? What a nice way to generalize our forum into a bunch of shallow people. I'm a female and I'm not to sure what your models could offer to me that would be better than listening to some bad ass music and hanging out with some cool ass people. Nice comment about them getting bored after 8pm. Not too sure what you were eluding to with that statement, but I'm sure your models would appreciate reading that too.

I don't even think twice about driving to see PvD. Hotel, tickets, drive are all just details. I am there for the experience. I'm sorry you feel the need to compare Hardware to PvD. Seems kind of silly. I think for the majority of us there isn't even a competition. Most DJ's would pale in comparison.

I agree! I would come see Myles! It's unfortunate that this is on the same weekend as the PvD party. I'm sure that a lot of us would have come out under different circumsatancs. Either way there really was no need to bash PvD. It's all about approach. Most of us had already made plans before this thread was even posted. I have someone flying in from Belgium for PvD's gig (among other things).

I hope every one has a good time! I want see pics! Post them up somewhere. I will for sure write a review. The invitation is still open. If things work out well then we might use him again for another party but we will see. Nothing in stone but something might happen in jax. Should be very cool! By the way guys im not trying to step on any toes here. The comment about the girls was just to break the ice since it seamed everyone that was posting was saying hey sorry im going to PVD. The comment was not ment to be taken seriously. I was being a smartass. That�s just me. =) It was never ment to disrespect. But hey at least I got some people talking. Take a few steps down trancebrat, we're not goin all full steam ahead both fingers blazin to PVD. He has his fans, and a lot of them are on this forum. So does Tiesto.

However, there's quite a few people who think both of them are over rated and would rather see a local Floridian bang it out.

Just because a few jokes were made at PVD's expense doesn't mean we need to start a flame war. Let it drop, people who are not going to PVD are cordially invited to attend Hardware, those who are going to PVD I hope you have a good time and may consider a later event with us in the future.

It's all in good fun. Relax, which DJ is better is a petty and ultimately worthless argument because it's a simple matter of opinion.

Thank you for your post. You're not stepping on any toes. Like I said in my post above yours...it's all about approach. This was a much better approach. I will definitely come out and see Myles. Under one stipulation though...he has to be allowed to spin classic trance!

As far as im concerned Myles can spin what ever he wants. He is an excellent DJ and has a good ear for music. Plus working in a record store helps out a bit =) Where my discount Myles! Hook me up with some new tracks!
