What if Aliens are...

Let's say "time machine" is a possibility in the far future.

What if the extra terrestrials are humans from the future, using the "time machine" to come back to their past to our age and what we are seeing is an evolved version of humans if we ever encounter one in our lives?

Sounds pretty far-fetched but who knows.

if you think like that you should listen to Art Bell and George Noory on Am radio, Coast to Coast am. If i'm not mistaken in Southern Cali, if that's where u r, it's on AM 640 KFI from 10pm to 3 am. It's good stuff about paranormal stuff/aliens, and even mushroom acid discussions. Check it out before bed...it's pretty cool for AM radio.

Ahhh I like to speculate about this stuff too.

It's a lot of fun. I'm a skeptic though because there are so many phonies making claims that have been soundly debunked.

Are you familiar with the time travel tale of a fellow by the nom of John Titor?

Google that up, it's a lot of fun

As for your alien theories, I encourage you try to find the Art Bell episode where renowned world physicist, and one of the smartest people on the PLANET Earth, Michio Kaku, speaks to him about alien possibilities. It was a really enjoyable listen and SOOO enlightening.

Here's a link!

Dr. Michio Kaku is an internationally recognized authority in theoretical physics and the environment. He holds the Henry Semat Professorship in Theoretical Physics at the City College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He has lectured around the world and his Ph.D. level textbooks are required reading at many of the top physics laboratories. Dr. Kaku graduated from Harvard in 1968, summa cum laude, and number one in his physics class.

Glad you brought this topic up.

well if that was true...i could care less because i'm happy with the way things are going...or at least with this ignorant reality that i live in

PYRAMIDS??? DID YOU JUST SAY PYRAMIDS???

Why in fact you did!

Interesting speculation about this can be seen on the show Stargate SG-1. The Goa'uld System Lords (from outer space) are responsible for bringing pyramids to Earth. It's a fantastic show!

i've always been very interested in paranormal activity. strange that evertime i did into it, i cant sleep at night, but thats another story.

I don't want to mingle science and religion, but i guess i'm going to have to:
Holding that religion is true, is Man the true blessed species of god, or does this include aliens?

I always loved the hoax on the Art Bell show of the guy who called in saying he was an AREA 51 employee and that they were going to cut off his transmission at any moment cause he was revealing too much information, and by chance the power did go out, and he did get cut off. But only to have him call back right after saying it was only a very coincidental joke that happened to work very well. I forget which Tool CD has the playback of the original message the guy told to the show before he was cut.

Here I am quoting and debating my own ideas, but another thing to wonder about is if time travelling has been invented in the future, why haven't we already encountered an invitation from our future generations?

And if we did, are the governments classifying all the evidence they've got?

what if you've been using too many recreational pharmecitucals?

Technically, if time travel were possible, it seems more logical to be able to travel to the future rather than to the past. The concept of "time" is known as very hard-to-grasp and might just be too complex for humans to comprehend.

Hmmm that could be true, but you know what? By traveling to the past and giving us all the information and details about time travelling, it could be more beneficial. why? after the travellers go back to their future they might experience a more futuristic world in their present age.

By altering the past, it's very much possible that an alternate timeline arise considering the definite "already-around" timeline can't be altered.

I'd like to state that travelling into the past seems way too farfetched and right out of a sci-fi flick. The possibility is just proposterous.

Posted by Torley Wong on Aug-07-2004 09:46:

Like I like to say...

When in doubt:

MULTIVERSE!

There was that episode of Sliders where they technically didn't travel to the past, but to a parallel Earth where development happened slower or something -- I don't think it was just rotating slower unless the relativistic timeframe was sync'ed differently -- so Quinn was visiting his boyhood self. That's one way around it.

Like I like to say...

When in doubt:

PLOT DEVICE!

Sadly, PLOT HOLES go hand in hand with a plot device. And since this is the real world, there should be LOTS of 'em.

Posted by Torley Wong on Aug-07-2004 09:52:

HAHA. THAT'S SO TRUE.

Yeah, for all those depictions of time travel in sci-fi ranging from some clumsy Star Trek moments (they've had a share of brilliant ones too) to the keen perspective of Donnie Darko to the blockbuster just-don't-look-back-and-think-too-hard of The Time Machine (most recent version starring Guy Pearce), there are...

dum dum dum!

PLOT HOLES

There should be a movie parody (of sorts, maybe acerbically sarcastic) called PLOT HOLES. And the whole movie is about plot holes and people falling into them. Or something.

What's the need? Half the flicks that're coming out now are full of them. I get a laugh out of those.

What's your favorites?

Armageddon was one of mine

The "Americanized" Ring comes to mind right away.

Oh, botcho supreme. Yeah one of those movies that you hope you get engrossed in the ambience and forboding suspense so you don't start to think too hard about what problems there might be.

Did you see the Scary Movie 3 parody too?
