Dallas Area Record Shops

These are the ones that I know about:

ATPT

Core

Bill's

R-Type

BPM

Any others that I'm missing? I order most of mine and I've only ever purchased from ATPT locally but, I don't want to be missing anything if there's other stuff out there.

BPM records is a badass store and they carry some good trance records in there. Not to mention they don't charge you a dollar for listening to records and they actually put the price of the records on the record themselves.

Besides BPM is a hell of a lot closer than ATPT by far. I've shopped at ATPT for years, but BPM is better if you leave near downtown.

It's been a while since I was in BPM, like since the first week it was open. I might have to scoot back in there and see whatsahappenin.

I live uptown, how do I get to BPM?

Posted by Ygrene on Aug-08-2004 00:28:

If you are coming south on Central Expwy, exit Commerce and go east

Go down to Crowdus and turn left

Hit Elm turn left again and BPM will be on your left hand side as you head down Elm

I think that's right

Addy is 2714 Elm

Cool, thanks. I will have to check that place out sometime this week. I only brought about 1/3rd of my records with me to Dallas, so if I plan on doing anything here, I need to stock up on some more.

I should check out BPM when I come home to Dallas for my week of break.

How many is 1/3rd? My stash is now 47. (my gf still thinks it's like 30 tho, shhhh.) Might shop a little this weekend.

1/3rd = about 60.... maybe a little more. Anyways, I need to go shopping. If at some point this weekend you want someone to go with you, let me know....

I'll probably head down there this Sunday. Seems like the place has some good reviews.
