what the hell is wrong with FL

can anybody tell me whats goin on??? it happens almost anytime i play my song for more than 40sec or when i try to edit one of the layers while the song is playing...

L O L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

omg i've NEVER seen such a thing before!!!!... heheh

sorry, but i don't know what a DIB is.

I assume it has something to do with the assumption i made that this is a pirated copy of FL, you're running.

otherwise... you may want to stop the song b4 you do what made this happen.... and maybe check your midi/audio/asio settings for bothersome drivers.

I've experienced weird FL freakouts with random combinations of plugins. Try removing the last thing you added.

what makes you think its pirated??
its never done this before. just today... hmm
whenever im in the piano roll and i go to a different window like IE to check out the forums and come back it will do it. it will happen like crazy if im in the piano roll and im playing the song. and sometimes it will just randomly do it. CRAZY. if anything i will just reinstall...

wild stab in the dark for ya'

DIB may mean "device independent bitmap", a windows thing programs use. FL is pretty good looking so it may be trying to create some bitmap for a VST, tracks, backgrounds etc.

sounds like you ran out of memory, so it couldn't create it's bitmap.

how much RAM have you got?

of course, this may have nothing at all to do with it

Solution:

Restart FL.

And remember:
Do not change active program when playing something in FL. Press stop before going to different window (like IE)

exctly what i was thinking

try running it by itself with no background or foreground processes going and see if the error still occurs on heavy load

*offtopic*

I often get the "Division by zero"-error. It has learned me to save my work often!

But why Fruity, you know you can't divide anything by zero.. HAHAHA

So have I.

But if you get those errors.
Then you must do as I told.
