The OFFICIAL Edgar V @ MIA Review

I really love MIA.

The place has great food, great people, a great atmosphere, and best of all, great DJs. Edgar V hasn't let me down yet, unlike some djs I've seen *cough* Ti�sto in June *cough* Anyway...


Me and Felipe were the first to arrive (besides Edgar and Charlie from CP, of course, they were already having dinner) Then Arturo, Harold and some other guy (didn't get a name, sorry.) arrived. Good to see you back @ MIA, Harold.

Ben, Ryan and Neil arrived, then Jessica and her friend Angela.

Edgar opened his set with Xpander. My mouth dropped wide open. Not only is Xpander one of the greatest songs EVER made, it's THE song that got me into trance in the first place, back in 1999. Nothing but sick, hard hitting tunes and ownage. The girls on the bar were hot (except the one that made Felipe nervous , although her body would make her f**kable )NO One on Earth, Adagio for Strings, Traffic (Montana mix), White Room, a variation of Born Slippy I never heard before, and so many other tunes made the night fantastic.

*Well, all the tunes except ONE. Satelite. Ugh.

Among the missing were Damon, FallingMoon, Ambs, TigerClaw, Katie, Melissa, and Bling. Other than that, tonight was a very good turnout, and as usual, I look forward to seeing Se�or V again, and he told me that would be in 2 weeks once again at MIA. Drew is a kickass bouncer and overall nice guy, and Grace...OMFG...the hottest Lithanian girl I have EVER met... I gave her a lil kiss goodnite , said peace out to Edgar then Drew, then left. Jessica and Angela had gone to the 2nd floor, which is no place for me. Hope you two had fun up there, whatever was up there. Great seeing everyone tonight, hope to see you all again in 2 weeks.

I am now a fan of tribl house thanks to whoever was spinning upstairs

Great night as always. This night was very pumped up though, a very great vibe and crowd turned out last night.

EdgarV started with Xpander, true classic!!!.. and kept it going up as the night progressed. A very VERY goood set!! I enjoyed watching the girls dance, in the exception of a certain character.

Props to Art, Harold, Raul,Ben, Ryan and bro for showing up.. I had a really good time! UNtil the next!

They were both amazing but the second guy was exceptional when I walked in he was spinning Infusion - Girls Can be Cruel

by the way Edgar was great too it's just nice to experience some new flavor once in a while. i'm there every monday from now on, even its just for the food, those are some serious portions

Hey guys, glad you all had a good time and enjoyed Charlie and Sammy O. They are partners of Edgars, Southside and usually open for him at Crobar. I usually have them play upstairs at least once a month, always when Edgar's downstairs.

I can't believe that I missed Harold! Dammit, I wish I wasn't working late and could make it..... living an hour away really sucks.

I'll see you guys out there again in two weeks when Edgars back

Yeah, you know me. I'm always there. *lol* Actually I had just flown in from New Jersey at almost 2am and I was DEAD tired, plus I worked till about 10pm.

I'll definitely see you there!

By the way, if there are any of you guys that are DJs that want to spin upstairs, let me know....

my thoughts on my first trip to MIA:

6 dollar Heinekens? thought i was back on the beach for a second....

the menu looked delish! must eat next time

the aforementioned "character" scared the shit out of me........

when i ask the crew, why is edgar playing so many older songs....i was told its because "hes on the radio" so i didnt enjoy mr v as much....went upstairs for 10 min before i left and realized i should have been up there the whole time......sick music
