Peace activists

Peace activists? Come on! Call them what they are...anti-Israel activists. I hate how anyone can masquerade as a "peace activist" and still vandalize property and attack people, including authority figures like cops and soldiers.
That guy on the left is truly devoted to his principles of non-violence.
The man in the lower photo appears to be a Palestinian (possibly a resident of the area?) -- has he ever identified himself as a 'peace activist'? If he has, do his actions mean that all peace activists hit people? Let's take the example of the Republican Party preselecting a candidate who is a professed supporter of eugenics and a racist who believes in 'superior races'. Does this mean that all Republicans are white nationalists/racists and support killing off others? As for labelling all 'peace activists' 'anti-Israeli activists', is there a problem with opposing Israel when it kills Palestinians/bulldozes people's houses? Is this in any way inconsistent with a desire to see peace in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict?
Finally, the bizarre 'authority figure' comment. Are you implying that because someone is a soldier, everything they do is therefore morally and ethically acceptable? If so, why? Are members of the Sudanese army (read: government death squads) acting like 'authority figures' when they exterminate entire villages?
and then when the israeli soldiesrs are protecting them themselves the whole photographers are taking pictures of soldiers hiting civilians.
are they all playing Twister together?

), merely that their violent tactics are whitewashed by a sympathetic world media.
they a buncha hippies, i tell ya what bobby!
poor border guards. The stink must be unbearable.
You have my sympathies
Aren't there any trees out there in Israel for them to hug?
When will they stop the hate and just hammer a peace agreement and a truce that solves the matters. It's unfortunate that both sides are so deeply dug into their beliefs that a peace agreement seems out of the question. The hate shows up here with Cyrus King, Zing, Malek, Fastmp3 and others and their views of things. You people show exactly why there is no peace agreement because your minds are so filled with hate for the other side. This problem has gone on far too long and it won't end if an agreement is not solved, more suicide bombings, more Isreal fighting back, more innocent people who want to live their lives without violence and just go living dying for no reason. The situation shows what happens when two sides hate each other so much that they can't do what's best for future generations (which is a peaceful upbringing without threats of violence) but no, both sides are too selfish to care about that or they would have solved this problem.

No, I just stated what happens, you can view that bombings happen first then Isreal fights back or Isreal fights back and the Bombings happen, either way you look at it, IT IS WRONG!. Does fighting a wrong with a wrong = a solution? No
I can't stand either side here (Palestine and Isreal), they are simply narrow minded trying to protect their own selfless interests when a truce would save more lives being lost (which means both sides will have to give in, I know it's hard) but it won't end either way. No amount of your bitching will do anything about it, no amount of violence will solve it. Both sides are wrong and they need to solve the problem, so that the region can live in peace and future generations can raise their families in peace. That's not going to happen, neither side will give in or consider exchanging something for something else. Both sides will have to give in, feel free to rant on and on about how wrong a certain side is but it won't solve anything and that attitude is the reason why that their is still violence and strife among both sides, it is sad really. I view if the IRA and the British Government can put away 400 years of hate because they want future generations to live in peace and they can hammer out a peace agreement (fragile it may be but they still came together after all the murders and killings over the years, all the families torn apart on both sides). I view if they can do it, why can't palestine and isreal do it? because palestine and isreal are only concerned about their own self interests.

I know how deep the hate goes, I've read books about it but I think it's the best for the world and for both countries and for future generations. Yes, it's easy to say an agreement should be hammered out, I know the roots and problems from years past. I always think if the IRA and the Brit Gov't could do it, why can't others. I know each situation is difficult and unique but I'm tired of seeing the news of suicide bombings and Isreal hitting some house or killing some people. I just think the conflict is pointless and I pray every night that the situation will find a solution because it is better for everyone involved.
