Why are trance lovers so addicted???

I've been wondering about this for a while. Why are people that listen to trance, so much more addicted to the music than people who listen to other types of music?

I mean I wake up in the morning with my radio alarm clock playing the nyana cd, then I listen to trance in the shower to wake up, while going to school, while studying, during sex, while reading, driving, etc... just all the time.

I honestly never saw anyone listen to this much music who likes another style, except maybe for musicians. (and even then)

lots of people on this world cant believe that someone can listen to 'our' type of music for more then an hour without having a headache,
same for other genres, for example death metal
another example that im sure most ta's can relate to which was brought up in some threads recently is noisecore.

but still, in everyone of those genres, there are people like us.
those people are mostly either musicians, wanna-be musicians, or die hard music fans.

how many of the tranceaddicts you know DONT dabble at least a little with either production or spinning??
that small amount is of the diehard fans.

we are all music oriented people, and the same kind of people exist within every genre (definitley including mainstream pop)

and...true music fans are "addicted" to music. Whether it's trance, classical, or death metal. I consider myself a true music fan, a true trance fan because i can't stand one minute without trance.

Oh and I'm not saying we love trance more than other people love other types of music. But in my experience I think we listen to it more often and it's just a bigger part of our life. Obviously you can find examples of people liking other styles and listening as much, I'm generalizing.

I mean my bro listen to music all day long (not EDM) but he's a musician, it's his career so that explains it pretty much.

Someone brought up a good point,it's because we do research,we surf the boards,we learn and learn about the music and what goes into it etc...and u just become attached and love it more.

i feel the same way, i only know 1 person who listens to trance like i do! im trying to convert friends but there just mezzmerized (spelling?) my pop and rap-rap, i dont know about you but saying "right thurrr" doesnt appeal to me, but the sweet melody's of Perry O'Neil's Wave Force does! there are countless tracks i can play over and over and never get tired of, !
