ULTRA - featuring Sample Gee, Matrix - Friday August 27th

ULTRA is the new event from the exact same team who bring you A Night Of Trance.

Why is their a need for ULTRA? A Night Of Trance features a very specific style of music. ULTRA will be designed to broaden the styles played at A Night Of Trance. It will be a musical journey through the various uplifting genres, from progressive trance right through to hard trance and even... some happy hardcore (although not at the initial August 27th event). This event will allow the team to put on more and varied local DJ's. The event also means that one doesn't always have to wait the full 6 or so weeks between the A Night Of Trance events.

The first ULTRA will be held at Icebox nightclub on Friday the 27th of August and features:

Sample Gee (InTheMix top 50 Australian DJ 2 years running)
Matrix (debut uplifting trance set)
Joshua van Aalst
Scott Richardson
Jayde
Luke Sykes

When: Friday the 27th of August
Where: Icebox Nightclub, 2 Kellett St, Kings Cross
Time: 9pm till 6am
Cost: $10 before midnight and $15 after or $10 all night if your wearing one of the A Night Of Trance T-Shirts

What can you expect from this event? A party similar to when A Night Of Trance was back at Icebox. So expect it to be loads of fun

ICEBOX WILL BE CLOSING. THIS EVENT WILL BE ONE OF THE LAST EVENTS AT THE BOX AND THE FINAL JOSH AND FRIENDS AND TRANCETRIBE EVENT THERE

The Icebox has been really supportive of uplifting trance in recent times hosting all the events: A Night Of Trance, Halcyon, Rush, TranceTribe.

Hope to see everyone there to farewell the box.

hey josh.. r u sure they aren't just closing temporarily as i heard they were going 2 be renovating the venue soon?

Yeh as Muli said they are under going major renovations. As far as I know the box will be a very different entity (a lot bigger for one). I am not sure if the new Icebox will even be called the same name. We'll all just have to wait and see.
