Leama & Moor

Hi people, does anyone out there like Leama & Moor productions?
If you do, they are coming to Leeds on the 2nd October to a 2 hour set! it's at club Mission and the night is Be Yourself vs Housework, sure to be an amazing night!

Posted by TOR on Aug-13-2004 11:26:

if their sets are anything like their productions, you're in for a great night!

Posted by Billabong on Aug-13-2004 11:27:

Leama and Moor are gods, maybe they will play some new productions.

oakie lost his crown a long time ago. somewhere around the time of starry eyed surprise. the real maestro's of trance are the likes of PvD, Tiesto, Armin and Ferry Corsten nowadays. ps leama and moore rock

oakey is the king of trance, no one will ever play better trance sets than oakey 1998/1999, ever.

Leama and Moor are the shiznuckle sticks for sure! I wouldn't miss it, if they came to Denver.

Ppl stop hijacking this thread with Oakie fans/haters

I would go see 'em (well, if they were playing in Holland), they have some great productions. Of course that doesn't mean they are good live, but hey, there's only one way to find out. If they mix really bad then at least you may have heard a few new productions of theirs

Posted by Joost on Aug-16-2004 18:10:

I only know their remix of the Avril Lavigne song "I'm With You", which is quite nice actually

Posted by tribu on Aug-16-2004 18:17:

Their remix of starkid - crayons is one of, if not, my favorite songs this year.

Their proiduction Shades of Red is also great, as are the endless parade of top quality remixes they release.

As someone has said, Leama and Moor are gods...

Posted by capricorn15 on Aug-16-2004 18:32:

i wish leama made some of his own new productions and remix, i liked him solo, but with moor he is great too.

Posted by starlabs on Aug-16-2004 20:50:

These guys rock. I always look forward to their productions and remixes...

BTW, is their remix of Crayons going to be released??

Posted by NiteMer on Aug-16-2004 21:07:

Leama had requiem for a dream which was good, and I have Andy Moor's "Crazy Lady EP" as well as a Kenny Shifter - Dirty little self remix, which are both good as well. However, I like their work together even better.

I'm with Avril is great. Their remix of Oakenfold's "Zoo York" is really good and my favorite of theirs is a remix I have on Lost Language. Can't remember the track's name, but I think it is "Wonder".

The thing that is nice about their collaborations is that they have deep nasty bass lines (I am sure Andy Moor is responsible for) with light rolling melodies (I am sure Leama brings to the table). Alone they are good, but together they have a quite unique style.

I've heard a 2 hour set on the internet and it sounded very good to be honest with you!
For whoever can't make it i'll let you know what they are like, i can't wait!

Smiley DJ leama & moor

That tune on lost lanuage is called Little wonder - Eclipse (very good indeed).
I've been told that there remix of Crayons is to be released soon.
They also produce records under the guise of ZOO DJS, which again are quality!

Posted by AndrewBlizz on Aug-17-2004 12:12:

It's all about Shades of Red

Posted by ryanmac on Aug-17-2004 12:33:

I've not heard that tune yet, is it good??

Can't believe I forgot the name. I used to play that track all the time. It's even on a cd I made. Sometimes it's impossible to remember all of the names though.

Sneaker Pimp Billabong

Can you make it for 2nd oct to see them in Leeds, where abouts r u?

Posted by ASOT100 on Aug-17-2004 22:17:

does Leama's song Requiem For a Dream have anything to do with the movie? I saw it two nights ago and didn't hear any song in the movie resembling Leama's song

Posted by ga11agher on Aug-18-2004 06:51:

no, they are not connected - although i guesss the track 'borrowed' the name from the movie
