I love watching her cooking shows ever since I was little, her accent was funny too

Hmmm,

I've never seen Julia Child so I can't really comment on her show.

I do like watching The Iron Chef though. I like it mostly because of the commentators. We are so used to the generic babble during a sports game, that hearing it translated to cooking seems very amusing to me.
