That's why he used a smiley face.

I think its a pleasure...makes you feel better about your own mixer. Unless you own a behringer of course.

I'm glad someone caught the sarcasm.

my vmx just did the same thing, except the levels in the headphones when in 'stereo' mode arent even either..after only about a year of heavy use. I guess its a common problem...i fckin annoying one, but common?

And to think, last year people were actually considering this mixer as a viable alternative to pioneer's djm range.

How the shitey have fallen.

Lol ya i remember when these first came out. People were all like "Its the same as a DJM 600 but a 100th of the price"

My djm500 is a tank, i could throw that sukka up against a wall and it would still work

Flip the on switch on the back of the mixer a few times...It does that little trick to me some times...the bpm counters go too...but you switch it on a few times and they'll come back to life

Posted by Frase on Aug-17-2004 00:39:

im on a Behringer DX500 had no problems at all with it

Posted by roosh on Aug-18-2004 18:20:

LMFAO!! Sounds like a qualtity piece of equipment. The only things left to do before throwing it in the trash are jiggling the wires and hitting it a few times.

BTW, is the DJX-700 mixer more crappy than the VMX-300? I have read more bad comments about the DJX-700 one, but then again it's Behringer we're talking about

Posted by beats and beeps on Aug-25-2004 17:35:

I think the vmx300 is better quality than the djx700, seems people have less trouble with them.

Posted by benoitfan on Aug-26-2004 00:14:

I don't understand why so many ppl bash Behringer. Have the VMX-300 myself for 2 years, not a single problem. All is working perfectly. Dunno if the new line DX line isn't as good, or what you guys are doin' to the mixers to kill them lol.
On topic, why do you need the levels? Put both tracks on PFL and adjust the gains of incoming track that way. It's way more reliable than the volume levels anyways (If I understood your problem correctly that is )
Cheers!

at least you know how to mix if this ever happens to you in a club. it's good to know your equipment in and out so if it ever happens to break down on you you still know how to use it.
