Trance at Olympic Ceremonies
Anyone else watching the Olympic ceremony? They've been playing like 3 hours of trance music in the background there. All they need is a guy on a stage spinning some discs and a few lasers. Quite a few songs I recognize too

i know that. i was at work when they were showing them earlier and i think the first coverage here was at night anyways.

Watching the ceremonies i have a strange desire to rub olive oil all over my body, eat feta cheese, and pretend im brad bit in the movie troy.

FYI to everyone saying it was on earlier.....in the US there was no live coverage.
The only coverage was the tape delay.
The only time where I didn't have to try hard to hear the music over Bob the idiot and Katie the skank was when Traffic came on as France and then Germany were announced.
Very well done theatrical numbers at the beginning. I guarantee that separating sculpture effect cost about a million bucks alone....I am still trying to figure out how they did it exactly and scenic effects are what I do for a living.

Fireworks seemed well choreographed (sp) too. The drum guys were good in the beginning. I had a hard time hearing some of the music too, heard a few familiar tracks and was like wtf since most evens don't seem to play trance but more classical type stuff or pop dance music. I didn't understand the order of the countries coming in but perhaps i missed something too.
