That day sucked... We had 46 fire calls, in total. We had power over at the firehouse so it was alright but we were running around all freaking day and night. Luckily, people brought us food from convenience stores and ice cream (that was going to get ruined anyway) and we had lots to drink and eat.

Good to hear your dad is fine now.

Did he recover? My friends wife had a major Brain Aneurysm last year. She never fully recovered.

as for the blackout...i still CANT believe that happened...dayamZ...and to think that it could HAPPEN again!!! WTF

Actually, the blackout was such a fun day for me... I went to the beach with some random strangers that lived in my sisters building - they brought a guitar and sung... than we lit a big bon-fire, cops didnt say anything except to be careful, they really didnt care that much.
