John 00 Fleming @ Avalon NYC (8/13/2004) review
ok, so the set technically happened on 8/14/2004... anyways...
Most NYTA's were probably listening to the set on di.fm, cuz the only ones I saw there were Liz (NY1004) and David (colibri). Was anyone else there, that I either didn't see, or haven't met?
J00F delivered yet another outstanding set. He came on at 1:30 am, and played til closing at 6 am. He did it entirely with CD's.
I got a little tired of the psytrance that he played between 4 and 5 am, but the trance he dropped in the last hour sure revived me.
David was ready to leave at 5, but the tunes kept him there til the end.
How many women did you meet that night?

In that last hour, Liz and I were able to hang out in the booth, with J00F, who was otherwise by himself, except for this photographer who came in and out. The photographer was the only person who accompanied J00F out of the club, and there was no limo for him, instead he took a cab, presumably to his hotel.

hey dan! glad to hear that u made it to j00f...my original plan WAS to go (and in fact, at AVB i had asked several ppl to go as well) but i was in soo much pain after dancing my butt off that i just had to recover. i was like a freakin zombie at work on friday...ugh...neways yeah his set was fukin TIIIGHT aiite...and i liked the psytrance he threw in...def different fo sho...hearing it made me wish i HAD gone...
keke so Dave went to j00f also? LOLs but this time u guys were together right? i just remember Dave kept losing ya during AVB...and then id find you all over the place at CroBAR ahhaha...but its all good, u looked like u enjoyed AVB a LOT LOLs...kekek...

J00F is focking awesome, I wasnt there for that, but I didnt need to be there to know he owned.

J00F likes himself the Xone's... Arc did the same thing for him, except Arc had the 464, Avalon is using the 62 (which I own ).
2 things I noticed... Mahadeva (Supakane Remix) & Seduction (Goa Mix) 
I gotta hear those.
i got there right when the club opened... wanted to check the club out and there was some sorta fashion show going on. i think j00f came on around 1:30?? anways, he played some pretty HARD ASS beats! it was a shame i was soo tired... tried to dance as much as i could but my legs were so tired from walking around the city during the day. the downer of the night : sound system sucks ass and old as asian men aka ahjuhshe's dance'n around the club. damn, thought i was gonna run into my dads friends and shit.. lol. all in all it was decent night.
looks like a really solid night. Sorry Alyssa, I remember you asking us at Armin, but the g/f was really really tired after work friday so we just bugged out and chilled with some nice hoisin chicken N rice while listenin to J00F on the radio. Nice to see everyone had a good time, it was definately a solid set.
does anybody got a complete tracklist? i'm curious about he, because at the 4 of septembre he's comming to antwerp.
but it's pretty hard not?

goer and his friend ny1004...
the musik was fine, as i arrived met joof
and talk about his unknown tracks
he responded by saying that he has lots of
relationships with producers from all over
and simply selects the songs he likes the
most... neat
well, this time his performance didnt make
me feel very much so opted to talk to some
cute friends had a glass of cognac and brandy
and even then the set was missing something
not enough melody was the problem
after having socialized for quite some time
towards 5am he eventually got the point
and started playing his signature style...
the last 2 hours of dancing were glorious
