What's the longest time you have ever stayed awake?

Taking my inspiration from the sleeping-in thread, i decided to start one about how long we have all stayed awake for.

My record is 54 hours. That involved getting up at 6AM for a flight, waiting 6 hours for the delayed flight, then flying to Paris (24 hours), getting to paris at 7am in the morning and then staying up until 10 that night to "adjust" to the new timezone.

What's the longest for YOU?

Finals week, my autumn quarter here. It was harsh...drinking coffee, soda, and amp (and more than a few No-Doz). I think I got a 3.2 that quarter...

i wont believe it if that includes weekends...otherwise, you win

to my knowledge you start going..not insane..but a little fucked after like 4 days..and then if you resisit enough you will just pass the fuck out

The longest I've been awake for is 62 hours. It was to finish off a project for university. After that amount of time I could really start to see and feel the effects of sleep deprivation.

My eyes were bloodshot, I felt physically weak, I could barely walk in a straight line and my concentration levels were amazingly low. I remember sitting there thinking "Jeez, I should really be working on my project just now". It took me about 30 seconds to realise I was working on my project that very moment.

Oh look! It's 7:37am. Might be sleep time soon...

When you say 2 days some people might say "well, that's not much". But a day to them is the time when they are awake - which may be something like 12 hours. So your 2 days would be 4 "days" to them.

thats what i often do...ive always been a night owl...i seem to be in a better mood and have more enregy at night

longest i ever stayed awake was 6 days and only needed "help" after the 5th... jesus christ my mind was very messy at the end

longest i ever slept was 52 hours whilst i had pnumonia (spelling?)

prolly aboput 60 hours i think.. and i used to do that everyweekend....

wake up friday morning... go to work till 5pm... go out to this club i used to dance for on fri night, have about 6 pills.. go back to a friends.. stay up smoking weed.. no sleep.. go to workon saturday till 2pm... then go straight to sheffield.. han g with sum friend for a while until it was time to go to gatecrasher.. have about 10-15 pills and some speed.. that finished at 6am sunday monring... then go to insomniacz straight after GC.. that finished at 12 noon on sunday... then go to a pub where all the crasherkids hang out, have a few beers in there, back to a feriends house smoke sum weed.. then stay awake ready to ctach the last bus home at 8pm sunday night.. straight to bed then up for work at 7am again monday morning.. completely fucked me up tho doing this for like 2 years.. kinda glad i dont do it no more
