FC Barcelona Thread

i can't believe no one here talks about Barcelona , what's wrong with y'all ?

new coach : Rijkaard (NL)

they brought Giuly from Monaco (France) , Deco from Porto (Portugal) and Eto'o from Mallorca (Cameroon) who was owned by both Mallorca and Real Madrid. as for Davids he went back to Juventus

i think Barca will win la liga this year !

Think you have been in Morocco too long. Rijkaard was there last year. Davids is on Inter. You also picked up Larsson from Celtic, Belletti from Villareal, and someone else just cant think right now.

As for Barca I do support them as my La Liga club. So Forza Barca!

With regards to Rijkaard, welcome to last year

Ive always supported Barca. This year I feel they have bought too many new players. They were on the verge of winning with the team they had last year. A few reinforcements would have been enough. But ultimately I trust Rijkaard knows what he is doing (evidenced by the discharge of Kluivert-finally!) so hopefully this season will be an interesting one.

Too bad they couldn't hold on to Davids though.

But i agree barcelona will have a great team this year.

trust me here in Morocco we follow barca and real more than the local teams and i forgot Henrik L.

dunno really, he just never convinced me.. never seemed to be any successfull in all hes done so far as a coach

I remember the last three games at the euro cup were horrible i was rooting for portugal and he always kept me on my toes whenever they switched him for rui costa i just felt a deep comfort, that deco keeps me worried for my favorite team barca i hope he proves me wrong


as for rijkaard he flip flops alot but have high hopes for him.

Sorry mate that is a rumour. It should happen within the next couple of days though. He is 99% sure he will not be playing in a Barca shirt this year.

Anyway I can see why both for 10 million. They need to get rid of Saviola due to E'too coming in, also Rustu has had only 4 apps for them since he joined. So he is unhappy. Monaco might just go for Saviola and Rustu to Turkey. That to me would be most likely since Flavio Roma for Monaco is a good keeper.

Roma is ok , he will improve more

i would love to see saviola playing in Monaco , the french league is gonna be easy for him

Saviola probably will go to Lyon since Elber was injuried last match.
