Football Americana Thread

So yea, even though the redskins lost to the panthers, I think they still brought the heat through all 4 quarters. No shame in their loss imo.

neways wtf are the dolphins gonna do without ricky and david boston. chambers is good but i think teams will be doubling him since boston is not there so who will fiedler throw to?

Im afraid the Pats are gonna be unstopable this year again.

GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!

Yeah, I am kind upset that the redskins were not able to defeat the Panthers. But they played good. I think they will do well this season, I just hope that they don't loose anyone else before the season even begins.

My dad passed on his love for the St. Louis (originally LA) Rams to me.

They'll be like 10-6 this year if things go as planned.

Yes, sadly looks as though the Patriots are the team to beat again. I'm still smarting from the HUGE upset of my Rams in the 2001 Super Bowl. Biatches!

REDSKINS!

Posted by ludawg23 on Aug-16-2004 21:21:

Pats baby!!!!

They just keep getting better and better, gonna be tough to beat this year.

I thought the Dolphins were going to give the Pats a run for their money but without ricky and boston, they're nothing special. Fiedler is god awful and we all know the dophlins can't play in december if their life depended on it.

The jets will be decent this year with Pennington back but if he goes down again, they're screwed. Without Pennington, without a doubt their leader, their offense cannot run.

Bills, Bledsoe is washed-up but Mcgahee is so fun to watch. Let's see what he can do this year.

I've been an avid pats fan for the longest time. It's great to hear all these analysts say that this Pat's squad is the best team coming out of training camp in the past 15 years. They're gonna give the Dolphins winning streak a run and I see them going extremely deep into the playoffs. Arguably the best defense in the NFL, i'm prediciting the Patriots vs. Eagles in the Superbowl
