My set didn't go the time I should've Friday night, but that was my doing. I ended up spinning 3 songs to the staff at Nuno's. Fun!

Well I don't know about the others, but Dave and I are always in touch with the management so that we know their plans, and they know ours etc. You should do the same, it makes for a more organised night if everyone actually confers with the management instead of with each of the other DJs and shit... that's why Nuno and Greg are running things and we aren't. Dave and I won't be there this Friday, and not regularly anymore.

Sorry to hear you didn't get to play last friday, I think that's bullshit. Everyone had agreed to you going on after Peter (the guest who was playing for like 25 minutes after me, until 11:30), what happened??

Travis was told he was going on at 11:30 and he had to get home early... so I was nice. Probably too nice. I had someone that came to see me spin and I was upset that she didn't get to see me, but at that point, Travis was already on the tables. I knew I would get my time in the light next Friday... so no harm done.

So was the crowd that we were getting just the DJs who brought friends and most of the crowd was from San Antonio? It was pretty grim...

Oh well, I'll keep passing out and putting up outdated flyers. Try to get more people to come. I'm determined not to let this die.

keep it up hoyt. yeah that is one thing i noticed about nuno's on trance night is that "most" of the people there were SA peeps, with the exception of the austin regulars (me and pete). the SA boys are a great group of guys to be around.

We tried to bring as many people out as we could at the time. We are fortunate that we have so many great friends in SA who are willing to make the drive out to see us. I don't understand why a decent crowd from Austin was unattainable.

I invision Nuno's becoming a much better happening spot. We could get a bigger crowd at Nuno's if we actually got a promoter that lives and promotes in Austin. There are plenty of people in Austin looking for a trance scene. I know I was. That's why I suggested having a trance night. I have a plan though that should fill up the club next week =) Wish me luck.

i guess i should step in and let everyone know (that went to nuno's) that i will be leaving in about 3 weeks so i probably won't be able to make it either. keep up the good spirit though man!
