i just had a long listen to the cd last night jpl.. tight mixing and some nice songs.. im not too fond of those female 'pump the jam' style vocals in the second song or so and i quite enjoy how most of these tunes build (like psy-trance style), some of the melodies didnt grab me at all but i lurve that last one!

Posted by jizza on Aug-24-2004 00:55:

haha i knew i wasn't the only one who thought it was odd to sample technotronic over a trance tune.

Posted by 00soups00 on Aug-24-2004 01:11:

yeh, i 3rd that motion.

didnt like he 'pump up the jam part'.

however, i did like the fact i didnt
noticably ID too many of the tunes...

nice psy-trance feel

however, you could've made the effort
to cue up the cd into tracks.

or maybe that was just my copy you were
tight no

Posted by jizza on Aug-24-2004 01:16:

no. i believe he was equally tight on everybody's copy.

Posted by Aesthetic on Aug-24-2004 02:06:

yeah we all felt equal amounts of tightness, jpl couldnt even get a pin up there

Posted by christos on Aug-24-2004 02:46:

so how was volume on saturday anyway? Who went, who saw, who liked/disliked?? havent heard a review yet and tracklists?? JPL?? Steve??

Luvin it like the commonwealth bank!

Posted by JulesPLees on Aug-24-2004 04:04:

hehe..that'd be brightness (pump up the jam)...something different.

And yeah...I was tight on that one..couldnt pull a pin out of my ass with a tractor..next one will be more melodically accessable and if your all good...I might just cut it up into tracks for ya.

Had an awesome time with Steve on Saturday..luved it all the way
