Exclamation 3rd Earth vinyl question [ID&T and White]

This has been bothering me for quite a while and hopefully pre/owners of both the ID&T and white promo releases of 3rd Earth will be able help me.

I purchased the ID&T release of 3rd Earth when it came out last year - only to be quite unhappy that they had re-edited the original mix [a much shorter breakdown and a piano intro which I dislike] - compared the the pre-release version that all big name DJs were playing e.g. the version that Armin played in the earlier ASOT sets.

That version is just over 11 minutes long where as the "intro" version is about 9 minutes. Was the longer version on the white label promo releases?

And to make things harder, on Discogs it says there were 2 white promo releases - one on Deep Blue and the other "Not on Label". If the white has the 11 minute version, which white is it on?

There were heaps of the test pressings avaliable on Chemical and what not, and the reason why I didnt buy them in the first place was because I wanted the Marco V remix also. Now that I've fallen in love with 3rd Earth again, I thought I might go and purchase the longer 11 minute version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers

solution #1 :

open wavelab and make your own edited version of 3rd earth

solution #2 :

the 'long' version as the label called it, was not supposed to come out but it leaked unfortunately...

all the best,

The original 11 minute version came out on Deepblue 12", although I'd guess it was probably on the other white thats on discogs aswell.
