what do u think of it?
You've got to be brave to remix a trance classic as huge as Synaesthesia, which is why I've always avoided it. Still, I'm not one to hold prejudice so here goes with my thoughts:
I wasn't really feeling this at all to begin with, though things did pick up a bit from the breakdown onwards. There are two main things I'm not a fan of; the white noise sweepy thing and the peculiar jolly ghost noise that appears around 1m08s. Overall the remix is alright, but it doesn't bring anything new to the table and there are a few production nuances here and there.
Hopefully you'll be able to squeeze something helpful out of that! Keep at it!
thx alot for the comment, appreciate it.. I tried to make something new... hence the "ghost noise"... atleast I am the only one actually making my own synth in this remix.. seems like both Ferry and Pulser.. used the synth from the original track..
Damn

I really made a fool of myself
It's not as good as Pulser's remix of this track , but it's really nice anyway.
wOw...
This is pretty nice.
It is always nice to see people who are brave enough to remix classics such as this.
Nice start, you know cool kick, hihats and clap. That windy effect drives me a bit crazy, and the ghoshly sample is kinda weird but with who cares when you have your hands in the air dancing to this one . The synth for the lead sounds cool and is more original but i find it too tick, don't know if you understand me.
Anyway is a cool remix .
I like this remix, very good work!!!
I like this remix mate, well done and very brave to try in the first place
first things first, to be honest, i dont like how theres all these remixes of old tracks, especially the thrillseekers, all those bullshit mixes were purely for money, no questions asked hehe
secondly, i think urs could use a little more work, just with reverb maybe? but it is really good the way it is,
thirdly, urs imo is the best mix out of all the 100 of them hehe
i love that bubble sound u got , its kewl it matches
and u gave it a classic 2000 feeling to it, real nice oldschool trance style
great remix, thanx for sharing
peace out
Hey yeah! This IS one of the better remixes I have to say. No knocks against it Subtle! Nice work!
A pretty good remix of this classic track. Doesn't compare to the almighty En Motion mix but its still very good, i'll be burning this to cd.
Btw did u use a midi or did u remake the melody/strings yourself?

its a disgrace for the original , ok its not. i was too harsh
alright..some comments:
Bass sounds alright..except for the boring PvD-Offbeat Bass.
The Highs and midrange sounds are not clear at all..it's like the hihats sound like coming from a C64 or sumwhat..just pure noise. definitley need some EQing and pre-mastering.
sounds alright for the first minutes..but the Lead saw comes in way too loud..its not harmonizing at all...its like ur using a supersaw pad or something..that crap has been overused throughout the last years by every random DJ...im sure Pulsedriver, Special D or Jan Wayne would play this
good thing is the gated lead in the background although it sounds VERY standard, too. the Lead again is annoying...have u used one preset/sound/synth to create all the instruments ?
no rating from me heh and sry for being harsh
whoaa..this track just takes off >>>
yeah! bump!
nice.

that offbeat bass is really cool, pvdish.
that square acid? is really crap imo, you should replace it with something heavier or more serious.
perc seems cool.
at 0.14 you let a low noted placed synth stab a bit, make that more agressive and repeat it more each 8 or 16 bars.
1.50 that synth comes in to sudden.
2.18 this synth is not really original, try to be more creative.
break is nice, that gated synth is cool keep it, but really replace that hollow saw.
it's not bad, mixing sounds fine here as well, but that square acid in the intro should be replaced , spice up the beat and it will get to a whole different level.
if this is a disgrace i disagree.
I like this, another gr8 remix.
Everything sounds v tight and gr8 fx. I like the weird lp filtered-hoover type synth you got going on the background, v v original.
Only thing I think its missing is a big lead really.
Love all your transitions, gr8 work.
Look forward to hearing some of your other productions.
cool remix but too FXy
