whatever they say about michael jackson

guilty or not, lets face it, he still put out some of the best quality shit ever seen in music history.....its just an undisputable fact that most people wont deny....and any american kid who grew up breakdancing to that shit knows what im talkin about.....

i mean the guy has been accused of child molestation atleast twice and is now just a plain out weirdo in every form, and has been exploited for all of it, but still has millions upon millions of fans chasing him around everywhere all over the world.....

personally, I think he was just abducted by aliens and replace with what you see now...maybe he is an alien.......its really just too bad the old michael isnt around....

He's a freak.

I hope he gets gang raped in jail.

I used to love his music over all when I was a kid. I have all these old videos of his that include some of his best tunes and music videos. In my eyes, he'll always be a talented artist. Some things that he does and/or believes is okay to do is questionable by everyone... but the guy is still amazing at what he did - making music.

its just like any discussion about hitler, most people are afraid to say he was a smart man, a great speaker, among other things.....when they're just undisputable facts that most wish to deny/ignore in fear of giving positive credit.

pretty much whats going on today with michael jackson. like you said, whether all these accusation etc, are true or false, the facts remain, he still made good music

i still like his music. you dont have to like the person to like the music.

he sucked ass in the 90's..he was good in the 80's and thats abt it

Well,he is a nutjob, but that could also support that maybe he actually does just like kids (on a demented level), and actually isnt sexually abusing/molesting them.

I'm not saying he's innocent, I just know there's a lot of fucked up people in this world that society doesnt understand, and because of that, people usually jump to the most logical explanation. Also, the fact that the first accusation was settled by money, really hinders on the legitimacy of the following accusations.

So, until he's proven guilty, i just have him marked as a nutjob with a very odd passion for kids.

Hm, the Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones tunes were the best. Once MJ started working with producers who were influenced by growing up dancing to his music, that created a weird causality loop and showed -- another pillar that fell during the whole child molestation scandal.

One big problem I've seen is that the trial is so dogged and blurred because it is a high-profile celebrity court case, similar to OJ or even Kobe Bryant in that respect. Mud gets thrown all over evidence (sometimes literally) and YESes go to NOs and then to "MAYBE... I'M NOT SURE?!?" Very confusing.

There are evil geniuses in the world. I don't doubt that. For example, if Einstein had not been such a pacifist, I think he would have been a very dangerous enemy. Somewhere in the Twilight Zone, a story like that is unfolding . . .

Who's the sick one - a guy who enjoys the company of children, or a guy who assumes that if he slept in the same bed with them that he must have molested them?

I love MJ's music and always will respect him for that. Yes, being a child molester is obviously bad but you can't forget what he has done. Btw I finally got a chance to see him when he came to Santa Maria in Cali (where I live) 2 days ago to attend a hearing. Damn there were a ton of people and news cameras there.

totally agree, but i still play his records because they are fucking good! its hard to find any music better than the thriller album. it is one album that will go down in history and stay reknowned for what it is - a work of art.

its is just a shame that such a massive talent has ended up the way he has. he is/was a genius but he's too fucked up (which mainly stems from the way his father treated him i imagine, still theres no real excuses in my books) and fully deserves to rot in jail for what he did.

turning your head the other way and ignoring the fact that a sick individual might be molesting small children, just because he had some great tunes in his day is the kind of mentality that puts society to shit these days and worries me.

You know, I think the personality of the artists is just as important as the music they make. If the person is an asshole, I'm much less inclined to buy their tunes, even if they are good. Some people just don't deserve my money.

It also winds me up when people buy crappy music because the music video is on the CD, and it contains a bunch of horny slappers, instead of buying the music because it's actually good music.

It's amazing what happens when people throw their careers away and what money does to some people.

Musically speaking, I am a big MJ fan. I think he has been the most influential artist in the last century, or, at least, one of them. His fans go crazy over him. I still dig his old tunes and others do to, because new remixes pop up all of the time.

When it comes to his personal life, I think he's pretty wack. I don't know if he really molested those kids or if it's a big money scam, but, either way, he's pretty out there. I respect his work, but I'm glad I've never met him and probably never will. Definitely glad I didn't meet him as a child. Ugghh!
