Weightlifting doesn't stunt your growth.

Hmm well im 20 now and i started doing simple gym etc at age of 15, but i wish i went abit easier on it and just done simple keeping fit things, now i have stretch/rip type marks all through my back.

Not sure if it was effected by gym but yeh.

Gym overal is i see personal thing, you must want to do it, and take your own pase, running every day for around 4Kms and simple bench etc, will keep u healthy and looking gr98

me too, blood hell stretch marks on my arms. I think i started around 16.

My advice, get a personal trainer for 1 lesson to show you what to do.

Anyways, what i do is:

(cardio warmup 5 mins)

Monday: Chest, Back, Shoulders, Abs

Wednesday: Chest, Biceps, Triceps, Abs

Friday: Chest, Legs, Abs

Saturday: Cardio

get the trainer to show you what parts to work on and to show you how to properly use equipment so you dont fuck up your back doing something stupid.

just use alo vera (sp?) cream/oil before you work out, it suppled the skin and allows it to stretch more easily, thus avoiding stretch marks. also, gain the weight gradually not suddenly, this also prevents stretch marks. you can always get them removed by laser surgery cheaply if they are that bad.

are there any other ways to fix stretch marks? im afriad of the laser alternative, last time i did laser on some bump i got a hypertropic scar and the lasar was bloody painfull.

stretch marks fade over time, but if you wanna help it out, go to GNC or something and they have this stuff for stretch marks...i forget what its called, but its kinda expensive

Strange, I wanted to lift when I turned 16 as well, yet in two gyms the owners told me that I'd better wait till I was a bit taller because it was not good for the growing proces... I started lifting at the age of 20, and I look at least as good as the guys doing it from the age of 16.. I heared the same thing (to wait to for your body to grow properly) from my Doctor.

hmmm, still many people believe weightlifting stunts your growth

How much do you have to pay for the trainer ( 1lesson ) ?

Don't ask people on here. Read up on those forums. And at 6"4 and 160 pounds, you must be annorexilly thin. At that height a more desirable weight would be around 230 pounds. I'm 6"0 and 200 pounds and I think I'm thin. Mind you, by the time you're 20 you may just naturally fill out
