Read This! FYI Folks: THE LIFE AQUATIC will be the best movie of the year...

Ok. So I've been noticing that a few choice people in this forum have been stealing my thunder when it comes to informing people about upcoming movies. Well, I just can't have that anymore. So once again, and as always, YOU HEARD IT FROM HIGHMAY FIRST:

The Life Aquatic(2004)

It's directed by Wes Anderson, who also directed The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, and Bottle Rocket. It will also have the same cinematographer as Tenenbaums, Robert Yeoman, so the movie will have the same look. But what will make it so damn badass is the that it's partly done in CLAYMATION. Henry Selick, the same animator for The Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach will do the claymation scenes. Add this with Anderson's usual ensemble casting, this time headed by Bill Murray and Cate Blanchett, and THE LIFE AQUATIC has the makings for the best movie of the year.

Directed by
Wes Anderson

Writing credits (WGA)
Wes Anderson (written by) &
Noah Baumbach (written by)

Genre: Comedy / Adventure / Fantasy

Plot Outline: The film is a world-wide adventure tale that centers around a European Oceanographer (played by Bill Murray).

Credited cast:

Owen Wilson .... Ned Plympton
Anjelica Huston .... Eleanor Zissou
Willem Dafoe .... Klaus Daimler
rest of cast listed alphabetically

Bud Cort .... Bill Ubell
Michael Gambon .... Drakoulias
Jeff Goldblum .... Hennessey
Seu Jorge .... Pel
Noah Taylor .... Wolodarsky
Pawel Wdowczak .... Renzo Pietro
(more)

Also Known As:
Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The (2003) (USA) (original script title)
Untitled Wes Anderson Project (2003) (USA) (working title)
MPAA: Rated R for language, some drug use, violence and partial nudity.
Country: USA
Language: English
Color: Color
Certification: USA:R

Trivia: The character of "Wolodarsky" was named after director Wes Anderson's close friend Wallace Wolodarsky, probably best-known as a writer on "Simpsons, The" (1989).

I get this feeling that Bill Murray is close to the grave... He just looks extremely old and less and less active in and out of movies. Then again, that's what happens to MOST old people...

Its not like it doesnt have a million advertisments. What would we be thanking you for? On another note this will be a great movie. though I dont think it will surpass "Tha Machinist" for me. Christian Bale's performance was amazing.......

because i knew this movie would be good in AUGUST...because i have an eye for it...and just because a movie is advertised heavily doesnt mean that it's going to be good...you should know better...and christian bale MIGHT get nominated for the machinist, but it isnt a lock...the only two locks right now are foxx and depp..
