Got into an accident today.

luckily no one was hurt. my car is pretty banged up though and the person who hit me got pretty lucky and her car suffered less sever damage. i'm still pretty shaken up about it. now looking back and picturing it...it's just so scary to think of. i'm going to take a break from driving for a while because i've really lost all my confidence. luckily though the lady was really nice and she understood that i'm a pretty new driver and that i was in total shock so she got the cop to not give me a ticket.

i'm just thankful that no one got hurt.

ahhh yes, i can remember my first accident it happens to everybody dude you'll bounce back.. just glad no one was injured. it took me about a week before i was driving normal again, ie not swerving out of the way of any little thing.

Dude, that sucks!! At least you're ok and no one else got hurt. I know a thing or 2 about accidents. I had a pretty bad one back in March, the night before I left to the WMC. I literally got out of the hospital, with 42 stitches in my face, and went to the airport and got onto the plane and flew my ass to Miami and had an awesome weekend. My car had almost $8000 worth of damage. Dude, you can't let it affect your confidence and willingness to drive. I def understand that's it's difficult to just get right back in a car and drive, but honestly, you really should do it. If you want to talk about the whole thing, just pm me and I'll give u my cell and I'll talk you thru the whole thing if you'd like Just don't let the shit keep you down!!!! You got to get back up on your feet and keep chuggin forward!

as to who's fault it was is kinda ambiguous:

i was coming down a street that's one lane one each side. a truck was making a left turn in front of me, so i did what everyone else does and i passed him on the right. the thing is right after that intersection on that road, it splits into two lanes in front of a traffic light and was heading for the right line at the light. but, the woman came out of a stop sign that was perpendicular to the intersection at an instance before the raod splits into two lanes. so technically it was my fault (says the cop). but she was clearly going faster than i was because my car was pushed to the side and she kept on going for about another 10 feet from the site of impact. also she had minor damage. she also obviously did not clear her way before leaving the stop sign. she most probably put pedal to metal and gunned it through the intersection

oh well. the damage is done. but my neck feels a little stiff...
