The Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia 2004 (Michael Trenfield Mix)

awsome kick, percs are a bit thin i think, but still very cool! maybe a bit much reverb on the percs. bass is a bit simple for my liking, but its just down to taste really and i guess this is just the style. sythns are all really cool. i think it could do with perhaps a bit more top end in the entire mix. strings in the break are nice, and that pianoey sound, although its very stabby. 2:53, lovely. really nicely done. compliments the original tune very well. over all lovely remix. everything ive suggested is down to opinion really! i like it.

By the way, your remix of frozen is one of my alltime fave tracks!

Keep it up dude.

Love Poundin' Sensation

I fucking love this, that piano is just awesome

thought id might check out this remix for obvious reasons

I like the feeling in those percussions.. tight..! the bassline is good.. I am not a fan of the piano though.. I like the "armin chord sound".. really not much too say actually.. very tight production, excellent mixing and mastering...

one thing I wonder:

what is it with that lead, how did u make it? (both Ferry and Pulser uses the same lead as u did..) makes me wonder

Yummy, nice take on the original. Love the added piano take on the melody. Although I'm not a huge fan of the bassline, but that's ok! Overall, nicely done

hehe agreeing to that.
in general the remix sounds fine nice to hear the original lead.
have u tried putting down the piano for an octave ? appears a lil too high to me but the idea is good maybe u should have played around with it and added something more to it (notation wise). but thats just an idea
i love the background synths. pretty fine
mastering is alright, but could be better. like a stronger kick and kickier in general. and the bassline, as already been said

This is wicked.

Percs are SO tight, good use of reverb, just about right.
The kick is ok, could maybe a bit more punchier, to compliment that offbeat bassline.

Piano is very nice, as are the arps and pads.

Nice FX for the rush, lead is absolutely georgous.

Don't really like the bassline, but thats just opinion. Some bouncier would b more my thing.

Overall, gr8 remix of a classic.

And also, I love your frozen mix too.

Very nice remix, only the bassline and kickdrum are a bit weak I think.

Keep 'em coming

ok comments..

-too much reverb on hats.
-higher the kick about 2db
-bassline is too stagnant..need to have more notes in there to give it energy, also when it goes down a minor it sounds too low
-the intro plucks are quality.
-heres the synths just sampled from the original right?
-hmmm........when that kick came in i wasnt enjoying that..needed more of a build.
-clap sample is iffy
-its ok really-its kinda like a sub par version of the original, not really a remix in my view
-then the piano comes in and it adds something

overall a good effort but as i said...its not really a remix?
7/10
keep tightening ur basslines and phatten those percs and u are onto a winner
