Iraq oleee Iraq oleee Iraq olee olee oleeeeee ...

Ive said it once and ill say it again.
FARINA SHOULD BE SACKED.
Farina gets payed around $150K
Think about that... and look at how he is.. in his own words.. "improved australian football.."
I call it football cause thats what its called... FIFA WORLD CUP FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION...
Call it soccer, and ill call u american.. :P
Paraguay are just a notch below Uruguay when it comes to football.. and we can all remember what happened last time Uruguay beat Australia...
So well see how things go... like ive said before, if we don't import players from overseas, there is no point...
Perfect example, asian countries, they used to be crap, look at Japan now...
THey can whip Australia in no time.. why... imported players and a Brazillian coach... so there we go...
Enough ranting, im going back to sleep.. ciao!
...dude i dont care how much he gets paid, again he failed to deliver. I want my football team to win, not try their best cause they trying to save some dollars.
FARINA IS GONE MARK MY WORDS. HES HOPELESS.
make way for the French revolutionary...
Gerard Houllier!
Allez Allez Gerard Houllier!
If Iraq wins a medal, how the fuck are they gonna be able to put them in a safe place when they get home?
Fark'n John Howard! It's all his fault we lost to the Iraqis. If Sadaam was still in power, this never would have happened.

do they need a gold medal anyway, since they've have tonnes of gold if you've watched the movie "Three Kings"

Fuck that if i wanted to support a team with brazilian players id support Brazil!! Point out a BETTER aussie coach then Farina, and i'll join you in calling for that person to become our coach Paulie, but dont just call for a sacking without naming a replacement!! Thats not productive at all... Were all so dissapointed that we didnt get a medal but for fucks sake we made it to the quarter's - when was the last time we did that in olympic soccer??? |
As i said before name another aussie coach that should replace him.... im waiting....

Farina is tactically inept. What a joke it was in Montievideo, what a joke now at the Olympics against Iraq. FFS!!!!
Who gives a s*** when this country hasn't embraced and embedded the football culture for more than a century. Quite clearly, Australia doesn't deserve success in football unless a majority of the population is truely passionate about it regardless of WC qualification or not
As for a manager, get someone who brings flair, someone who wants to dominate the match against South American opposition in their own backyard, instead of sitting back. Get a coach that teaches to pass and move, and control possession.
Im still waiting for someone to name a better replacement coach....
Perosnally, I think blaming it all on Farina's a bit harsh - he gets the player group maybe a week before each game, with some key players only arriving perhaps 2-3 days before the game and he's supposed to be able to form a team with that. I dont think any coach will get the team to have success until he's got a player group that regularly plays together that doesnt keep changing and which has the key players in for every game, so that the strategies dont need to change every single game.
Roy Evans (English) - Won league title with Liverpool as a player. When he retired the man became a part of the famous bootroom has his been taught by the legendary Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley, he'll introduce the passing game, in which the socceroos could just dictate opponents in their own backyard. Temporarily saved Liverpool from the work of Graeme Souness.
Guus Hiddink (Dutch) - A midfielder during his playing days, Hiddink took up coaching in 1982 with De Graafschap in the Netherlands.
Two years on he took the reins at PSV Eindhoven where, in a six-year spell, he led the side to four league titles and the 1988 European Cup. He became Dutch coach in 1995 and led the Netherlands to the World Cup semi-finals in 1998 where they lost to Brazil on penalties. Much more famously took South Korea to the World cup semi finals in 2002. Now manages PSV Eindhoven.

FARINA IS FUCKEN SHIT
[/end of story]
Id prefer locally someone like a E. Krencevic take over, maybe even a J. kosmina.
We need to look overseas to get coaches with enough tactical nouse to win the big crunch games.
So it doesnt matter who we replace farina wiht the point is he has to go.
