Sasha Vs. Digweed (live performance)

If a gun was put to your head and you had to choose between the two (based on their live performance) which would it be??

Myself, I'd have to pick Diggers as I've found Sasha to be incredibly inconsistent.

(although imo both have legendary status of course)

Either way im gettin a good nights sleep so doesnt really matter

J/K ... I'd rather see Digweed just because i havent seen him spin live at a club b4.

Digweed is not only technically better, he's definately more consistent. Having said that, Sasha at his best ( a few years ago in my opinion ) is peerless.

It's a tough choice though, since both DJs are true legends. Ultimately, i think the choice of who is better live, tips towards John Digweed. Too many times Sasha has come on after Digweed and not been able to match Diggers flawless programming and choice of tracks.

Yep, you guys already said what I wanted to say. Diggers live all the way.

But digweed is the most boring person to watch on the TTs...he doesn't do anything, no emotions on his face...i'll take Sasha

Digweed. Clean mixing, harder beats. When they spin back to back, that's the only time I consider Sasha at Digweed's level. Digweed keeps him from getting too swishy and Sasha prevents makes Diggers choose more tracks with melody.

I've seen sasha twice and digweed twice, I enjoyed Digweed both times, Sasha neither!

Yea, i'll give you that! When I saw him in 2002 the only time i saw his eyes look up was when I jumped up on the KH stage and did the "we're not worthy" thing. He didn't look to happy tho

Lol he never looks too happy In fact he never really looks anything...I mean his music is good...mixing is awesome...but he looks dead back there, there's no interaction with the crowd whatsoever.

Oh by the way...2 years ago at Area 2, Digweed was playing after Tiesto in the main tent - after Tiesto everyone left and the tent was maybe 1/3 full for Digweed so stop bashing already

In hebrew there's a good saying that translated to english sounds abit like this - "When it comes to taste and smell, there's nothing to argue about" -- everyone has different tastes

He was awesome at Area 2 , even stayed after for autographs and shit! Never see Sasha do that. Either way both Sasha and Digweed are soon gonna be replaced by younger, newer, more energized djs like Hernan Cattaneo, Ozgur Can, Schultz, Holden and so many others!

By the way, I would pick Digweed

for the record, the english (as cold as they are), have the most incredible sarcastic wit matched with a brilliant sense of humor we usually don't "get"
