Sennheiser HD-280 Issues

My sennheiser HD-280 headphones' bass out of the left cup rattles and is distorted. Any ideas as to what i should do?

have you dropped them or have they received any sharp knocks? if so, they may not carry out the warranty. worth a try though.

i know a lot of the parts are replaceable so if the worst comes to the worst and they dont carry out the warranty, you could probably get them fixed. although you may have to send them to them anyway if theres a problem with the drivers, i'm not sure if they are user replaceable.
