When did YOU discover how amazing trance is?

I can't remember the exact moment but songs that definitely affected me earlier on were:

Hypertrophy - Eternal Flames
Freebase - Touch Me, Feel Me
Better Off Alone - DJ Jam-X & Dumonde and Signum mixes

A bunch more but I want to hear all of you tell us!!!!

when I first heard
William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings (Ferry Corsten remix)

I could tell u that I have the perfect combination:
The first time I get 'enchanted' by REAL TRANCE was watching the For An Angel's video; first I got the best classic I ever heard of one of the best (maybe the best of all) trance producer and, second, the first images of a true trance lovers community ->The Love Parade<-
This 'throw' me all completly into trance-progressive (and all generes) sounding and culture, IS JUST THAT I LOVE ALL OF IT!!!!!

I was introduced to techno in 1994 by none other than Frankie Bones on his global house culture 1. I then moved later to the next genre via a cd called "trance-ambient" which was slow and deep, more ambient than everything else. I continued to still call it all techno, until I grabed "Paul Van Dyk - Chineese Burn" off of Napster simply by chance. This was 3 years ago, and I was completely blown away. I still don't know much about the "Chineese Burn" track other than that it is about 15 min, it completely jammed, and was heavily shared on Napster. That was the track that did it for me, thats when it switched from Techno, to "MoFo TRANCE." If anyone knows anything about the "Chineese Burn" track, please drop me some knowledge.

The 3rd party I ever went to, when I was first getting into this scene about 3 years ago.

John Digweed played a three hour set that absolutely blew me away. From that moment onwards I was hooked on trance, but it wasn't until about a year ago that I became totally obsessed with it like I am now :P
