i didn't log out because i was the only one home. She came over and let herself in with her key. She's been doing stupid stuff like this lately, just to annoy me. I think she wants to end the rea\lationship, but doesn't want to be the one initiating the breakup. I've tried to get her to sit down and talk about it, but she keeps avoiding it, and i didn't have the time this past 2 weeks because i had mad projects due. She's coming over tomorrow tho, so hopefully there'll be a resolution.....

I'm hoping a resolution = a boot in the arse

It's okay really it is
The problem like all things is that its all contextual. The thread I had read immediately preceeding yours was this one:
http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=204598
There are plenty of threads where people discuss Tiesto skills (or lack of them) this wasn't one of them but people starting shittin on Tiesto cause well it was a tiesto thread, so apparently that gives them carte blanche to bash him regardless of the context. Next thing I know the first basher was insulting Citric Acid? How did Citric become a target? It baffled me.
Up to that point Jessica seemed cool, and watching her proudly parade around that thread screaming to the world "I too am intolerant and quick to demean". Well it saddened me.
I *mistakenly* hope that HERE (i.e. TA ) of all places people would be more "better".
and so...
The next thread I read was yours. And my brain was still filled with all this frustration and energy from reading the previous thread. And I knew all the OFFICIAL TA SAMMY DIAHERA CREW would be posting the second they saw it, so I tried to ward them off with my post. A preemtive strike if you will. It didnt' work of course... but I tried.

i applaud your attempt, subey. Unfortunately you had the misfortune of tangling with julie.
I think the problem lies within the large amount of credibilty TA projects. Since we have memebers who are famous/ semi - famous dj's, the majority of posters look up to and try to echo the comments and opnions of senior posters, the 'herd' mentality as you described.
Also people new to the forum are sometimes berated for asking questions about things which supposedly 'everyone' should know. They, then seek solidarity with the majority by blindly following public opinion, and by bashing other newbies. a vicious cycle repeats itself.
Personally i see no point in a forum where only a single opnion is accepted. The whole purpose of having a forum is defeated.
