soundrush - spaced (dub mix)
hey guys,
i've finished my new tune. in my opinion it's rather a space filler than something special but im realy content with the sound and buildup.
would be nice to get some feedback, and suggestions for the future.
sidedrift - spaced (dub mix)
thanks alot, nik.

Very sweet Tune...I wouldn't call it a filler man, this is good stuff...I really like the driving beats and bass in the beginning...then the soft choir tunes come in, then melody begins to form..then the break: delayed piano keys fill the silence...then the moment hits:Leads build up...then the main melody comes in and the piano riffs keep the song in motion... Awesome man...
Awesome tune man. Really like the feel of the choir pad. Nicely done!
wow, quality of track is amazing, everything is really clear,
love the piano, then i love the trance melody coming in, but then when everything hits, i really think u can add more layers to make it sound more fuller, its not powerful enough when everything hits, but seriously great track, great chiller
tnx for sharing
EDIT: im listening to this maybe 10 times already, i cant take it!!!!!!!!!!
this is fucking amazing
A+++++++++
omg hehe i looooooooove it
u rock!!!
very cool bass and bassline mate !!
nice effects with those acids.
1.21 ditch that snare mate, to noobish, roll it i say.
track could use some fx and more perc layers to keep it intresting, choirs are sweet, but you know that
.
cool how the break kicks in 3.10.
piano is really nice.
melody is nice ya, but like quest said, it's not powerfull enough when it kicks in.
i really dig your acid and bass skills, could use it, maybe we could collab someday
i would be intresting to make an edit out of this tune(well try)
he soundrush!
another great track!
nice use of the 'outback-sound'
Like the overall atmosphere like some said allready.
the bassline also sounds very nice.
this would make an excellent b-side for distant galaxy
let me know when you finished the track 100% ( or was it allready finished?
greets Mark Sixma,
BTW: a friend of mine told me Andy Prinz will play my remix of your track ( distant galaxy), in his radioshow soon. I'll keep you updated on that one
wow guys..
yes, im currently reworking the track. i'll add some elements to expand the tension after the break. in addition i'll tweak the percusions and add some more effects.
..thanks for the kind words, you guys are realy pushing me forward.
It's good that you finished this song. Many modifications has been made and the end results is really nice. How do you make that FX? It's so awesome!!
The bassline is really good. It's really hard to hear the bassline when more elements are added to the mix. Changing the EQ would fix this probably.
The PAD or Choir-Pad is really sweet. I'm not so fond on the piano. It's too plucky if you know what I mean. Applying a compressor on the piano or changing the amp envelope of your sampler to smooth the paino would be really great.
The buildup wasn't that amazing tho. But it's really great to listen to this track. I hope you could make something more of the melody.
Great job
Ey Man - That`s not a Filler - Never!
Tune is great indeed.
But - Artists Name is Soundrush or Sidedrift?
Can you tell me please?
Thx...
completely amazing !!!
how did you make that bassline and those fx at the beginning ! this is really good !
That piano is the most amazing part of the whole track, rivals 'Timeless.' Agreed though that when the melody comes in it should be more powerful.
great stuff
a very well produced track! the use of those fx to devistating effect coupled with the pads at the break... fantastic! when the piano synth makes an appearance it sent shivers down my spine! long time since a track did that to me! the piano kinda reminded me of Lost Tribe 'Angels'! Great track - you will go far producing like this - I am envious mate keep it up!
When can we have the full version??????
like everyone sez, good tune! piano is lush, breakdown is good, beat is driving and overall very nicely produced.
another extremely late reply from me
the first bar i thought i had gouryella - tenshi playing hehe
lovely bassline, but you don't hear it when there is more going on.
the break is gorgeous, with those pads and piano
although the piano sound is a bit plucky like Timothy said. hmm he said the same about the bass, so i guess you can ignore my post
nice track man!
john
This is great from start to finish.
Im feeling the uplifting trance from the start, the elements used are brilliant, very professional.
The kick is nice and punchy, bass is clean, percussion has a great flow to it and the breakdown is awesome, the crossover from the high pitched choir feel to the phatt saw type pad is very effective oh and the piano is sweet
.
Keep up all the good work mate, i look forward to hearing more of your material.
Terry

Some seriously good work here. The beats and bass are top quality and the overall production is very professional. Lead riff gets a bit lost when it all kicks in though.
I can't believe how high the standard is on here!
tis a biggun =)
starts off nicely, well produced - percs are a little dated, especially the clap.
good use of stereo, but the dist guitarish sound kinda dominates the mix.
good use of sampled fx - what source are you using for them (i.e. whats the sample CD name?)
breaks nicely at 2:40
tis a nice break, good strings
ahh - delayed piano!! (sorry, it's a pet hate of mine - robert miles is dead isn't he?)
this break is very very miles indeed - in fact it could almost be a remix - I would change it, but if it floats your boat.
actually, you could get rid of the whole piano section and just cut to the bit at 4:35 - so much better - and the piano isn't as dull after this section.
overall, a pretty nice track, worth a listen, but has some cliched elements that could do with being removed - would bring it down to a better length as well.
cheers
op
