Smiley DJ So, how was Creamfields for you then?

For me it was fantastic, and it was my first time, so l was very excited and expecting the best, and l wasn't disaapointed at all!

Visited every possible tent, the fav one was MixMag-AVB,Ferry n Okey were great, but the most upplifting was PVD-none of the tunes he played I had heard before-really loved his set( anyone knows the tracklist?),

saw Yojhi Biomehanika at Tidy arena....wot a guy wot a guy-
so everything was great,
so,what's your thoughts then??

Greetings from a visitor from US!

I had a great time there, but boy, getting back to London by train afterwards turned out to be quite a journey! I finally arrived back in London at 3 pm. Did anyone else have a similar experience?
Did anyone else ride on the train from Manchester to Sheffield? If so, then perhaps we were there together.

no real mix of tunes by him. all hard for the 1 hour 30 mins. and the 2 tunes he played with lyrics, u could hear the lyrics cos of the bass. no treb

not a bad set. just expect better from him

avb was good.

1st time i see oakey, seems a prick. doing at that shit on the stage. what the fuck does he think he is.

The gates didn't open until 5pm, which messed up all the rest of the set times. After paying 6 quid for a set list (which is so f*cking moneygrabbing - the original Creamfields in 1998 published the set times in Muzik before the event, and had boards around the place with them on), it turns out it's totally wrong. Every DJ or artist apart from AVB, PVD and Oakenfold seemed to be on at different times. I went to see Infusion live, turns out it was Way Out West! That really pisses me off because it's so exploitative. Perhaps I wouldn't mind if the thing had been accurate.. anyway AVB was brilliant, as was Ferry and Lottie. PvD went nosebleed hard for some reason, couldn't take it!

And the scally count was down this year, they'd obviously been making more of an effort to keep them out. There were hundreds of 'em outside the gates though, little pikey sh*tes. "eh mate, d'ya wan' som pills like?" "eh mate, wanna tickkut?" (in between spitting gobfulls of phlegm on the floor in front of you..

And it only started raining hard at about 3am luckily.

where did you buy your set time list? some of them are fakes, with totally wrong set times, and these are mostly sold outside the event. pretty much all the djs i went to see were on at the right time, give 5 mins here or there. as for infusion and way out west, well if you still have your laminate, you will notice that there is an advert for way out west's new album on one of the pages, and it states undernesth that they are on at 12am.i was watching david guetta saw caught infusion anyway.

Posted by who2u on Aug-31-2004 16:56:

ended up buying a fake 1 myself ffs

the place was a rip off all together

Yeah you're right it does say that, and then says on the Cream MTV page that they're on at 8:15. What a sack of cack! 6 quid!!! *6* quid!!!

You must have been lucky with the DJ times, I went to the R1 outdoor stage to see Matt Hardwick, and got Ferry Corsten DJing with Fergie on the mic. Then Jules appeared from somewhere and went on the mic but didn't go on the decks, all very confusing. Especially since Ferry Corsten isn't even listed on the R1 Outdoor Stage set list.

But at least I missed Clever Brains Fryin. Oh my god. Keith, get a new name.
