Dj Sammy feat. loona - Rise Again (incl. Martin Eyerer remix)
supposedly released on Zeitgeist label, maybe a promo...not certain. in any case, what does everyone think of this tune?
i personally like it and def. see myself spinning it...good prog. production, i was taken quite aback upon hearing it...
8.5/10
the original vocal and instrumental versions are commercial as fuk imo and i'm not planning to give em a 2nd listen
cheers
It's kinda impressive.
Original Mix is cheesy but has some good synth sounds. I like the instrumental version. (6/10)
Viframa Remix is the best mix of it imo. It's trance.
but I don't like the breakdown. (7/10)
Martin Eyerer Remix is kinda proggy house(imo). i think it's not so bad. (6/10)
Hmmm, only heard the Original Instrumental and it's actually pretty good. Nice breakdown!
Have You heard Pete Tong - Rise Again??? For me it's the same track like this DJ Sammy one, but with different artist name...

| As many people guessed, the new vinyl "Rise Again" by Pete Tong was really by DJ Sammy. The voice of Loona & Sammy's music is easy to guess. It will be new single of DJ Sammy and the follow up album is entitled "The Rise". |
This is 100% American Cheese.
3/10
The Viframa Remix is good, only as many already said before! The vocals are ultimate cheese, ... bleeeh!
Viframa Dub, ... that would be even better!
So far I have only heard the "Orginal Vocal Mix" and the "Viframa Remix" and while both are cheesy the emotional sythns are really good. It's obvious that the lyrics/vocals are gonna be swiss cheese but the production is actually nice and the idea behind the music is well done. The "Viframa Remix" definetly needs a dub and the "Original Instrumental Mix" well I can imagine that it's just w/o the orginal vocals so in that case I'd have to say that it would be a fair song but the orginal's music is on the cheesy side but it's a lot better than with the vocals...
I haven't heard the remix in question, but Martin Eyerer is a great producer so I'm sure this track will be gold with his touch.
Just imagine:
DJ Sammy - Rise Again (??? Remix) on everyones tracklist...everyone will think, wtf is going on! Lol.
Total cheese. When I first heard it, I'll admit I got goosebumps because the beginning sounds exactly like U2's Where the Streets Have No Name, which fucking rocks. After that, it turned to horrid cheese; a tune clearly (per usual Sammy) made for the money.

Only gets points because of the U2 sample.
