While reading the montreal boards, I came across this.

it was posted on the door in Montreal...
due to circumstances in the u.s. ferry corsten will not be playing tonite and will be rescheduled to a different date

Like what the fuck is this?? That happened two weeks ago, the promoters are just getting around to telling them the NIGHT of.

I'm calling on this post to go as far as it can. If anyone out there knows Ferry has cancelled, they should say it. It's bullshit that were being screwed like this. Fuck crooked promoters.

I'm getting a bad vibe about tomorrow night now, even if he does show I think the city of Montreal should get a formal apology by their promoters. Why is Ferry so sketchy? lol

I've changed my mind. I won't be goin to the Guvernment this saturday, Ferry's not gonna make it, it's not even that big a party, I can't find tickets for it ANYWHERE, ticketmaster isn't selling for this event... looks like the guv knows it ain't gonna happen.

Maybe that is why the tickets are so cheap! The promoters were not sure from the begining whether he is going to show up or not. Thus it's $10 & the there are no advanced tickets! This way if he does not show up people won't really bitch about it, since it's only $10.

Let's look at the history of Ferry in Toronto gigs:

1st time @ the Atlantis - he claimed he had food poisoning or something like that that's why he could not play
2nd time cancelled the gig, and decided to go do an MTV interview
3rd - will ferry fuck us over? AGAIN? AND AGAIN? AND AGAIN?

its always like that in the main room of guv on a sat night!
now what other club IN THE WORLD can you pay 10 to go and party in an amazing club with amazing sound (PHAZON) and lights on a weekly basis for $10? and pay 10 to see intl djs in a venue like guv?
that is why guv rules, and i dont even care anymore if Ferry "I like F'ing over Toronto" Corsten shows up or not, i know Mark will tear shit up like he always does!

Yeah it does matter if there's a guest dj or not, and depending on who the dj is! With someone like Ferry corsten, it should be considered a special event, should cost at least $20, and should have tix being sold for it! I got let down twice already with Ferry, I'm not about to be let down again... The Guvernment personally aint worth it unless there's a good guest dj playin.

well to be honest with you i doubt theyd fill up guv or even a place like system soundbar on ferry corstens name alone...HE IS NOT that big of a draw, and his STOCK has SHARPLY dropped when it was at its peak in 98/99, ever since then its all gone downhill for him and trance

oh yea i was looking thru my mixmag today and saw that Ferry was scheduled to play at SLINKY tonight in the UK and at PASSION in the UK tomorrow...what a fucking loser...

And also I do think Ferry Corsten alone would be a big enough draw to Guv. I think they knew it too, they fucking flyered and promoted this party hard enough man. Maybe it's hard to say mainly because of the poor Johan turnout, but eh.

The 10$ theory is a good one. I thought that right away. It was soo sketch how there was no adv tickets sales?!?! What the fuck guv!

Well like previously said (by my man viceroy), the tension builds for Tiesto.

I'd be embarassed to have the last name Corsten. hehe Should I remove his name from my sig? ohhh what a question!?!

lol maybe i wasnt clear in what i was saying but GUV HAS and most likely for the next while WILL have a polict of $10 at the door for EVERY SATURDAY inside GUVS MAIN ROOM. Thats how it was for Bond, Ornadel, Collins, Fontaine, Layo and Bushwacka, Fortier etc etc etc. Guest dj or not for SATURDAYS its ALWAYS 10, im not saying thats how it is on other special nights, you guys are confusing me lol/i thikn im confusing all of you lol!!!
