Big Ears [Uplifting]Roman Cherno vs. Head Rush - One Last Dream (Head Rush mix)

Hey, just would like to share a new track of mine with you.

Originally, this started out as a collaboration between me and DJ_Kreing but as we progressed in this track, it got harder and harder to work together due to difficulties technically and difference of styles, so we decided to finish the track off individually by ourselves and have 2 different versions.

So, without further ado, here is mine:

Size: 10.4 Mb
Length: 7:35 minutes
BPM: 139 BPM
Bitrate: 192 kbs mp3

(save target as)

Please enjoy, and leave some feedback

Edit: Fixed and updated!

Dancing Dude

very classical
nice intro, solid beats and percs, would be a killer in a club i think
now @ 4:40 when everything hits, bass is WAYYYYY to weak, the kick too is really weak in that part, all the way until 5:40 or so, i think its because of the classical piece, u used a bass string in it? so when u only play that in the parts of the song its loud bass...
u should proly try to lower the volume of that pad?
i hope im not confusing u hehe because i think i just confused myself...
anyways, thats the only problem i see, really great track
too bad u two couldnt work together, but it doesnt always work out the way we plan
tnx for sharing,
peace out

Hey there kewlness, really nice track! Exactly the kind of tune I like Really good work on the chord progression, I love the way the chords proper kicks in around 3:05, really uplifting!

The strings are really nice, lead really well into the supersaw lead ... I wonder if the day will come when i actually grow tired of hearing strings -> LP supersaw melody ... not for a while methinks!

Anyway, really nice tune! And I look forward to hearing DJ_Kreing's version too!

Cool

this is wicked until the main synth kicks in, it is rather poor compared to the rest of the track imo, sounds really software, the rest is top drawer btu i cant get my head round the main melody synth. this has blow the roof off potential, just that synth spoils it for me

thank you sunquest, pho mo and luke for your comments

i'll work on the things you guys mentioned. I was actually trying to go for a "software" kinda sound for the main synth kinda like 1999-2000 trance but I guess times have passed heh... I'll fix the things you guys mentioned

ok... worked on the new lead and some slight mixing adjustments that you guys mentioned, thanks for the feedback.

Any more comments? It would be greatly appreciated

Amazing work the mate!
You made a lot of changes since the last time I heard it and they are all for the better!
The bassline is stunning and the whole tune got a really nice vibe, very powerful I can defiantly imagine this working great in a club.
I hear the updated version and the main synth sound really good to me, nothing wrong with that.
Cant really comment on the sound quality since im listening to this with some crappy headphones but it still sounds pretty clear and pro.
Overall you did excellent work on it, was a pleasure working with you

Prolly gonna finish my mix in the next couple of days

really awesome work on this one ! very nice. one thing : did you sample the kick ??? it seems like it's "cut" and we can hear a misplaced closed hihat jusf after it.

great job anyway !

well impressed once again mate

Posted by J.L. on Sep-02-2004 07:48:

DJ Kreing : looking forward to hearing your version for sure!

xternal: The kick originated from a sampled kick but I have modified and made it more of my own kick. The closed hihat you hear is actually there because I put it there (it doesn't come from the kick). I just find it that it seems to make the kick feel more powerful by adding it there.

jim craik: thanks for listening to my stuff.. really appreciate it

Any more comments?? Mostly looking for comments that would help direct me to becoming a better producer. Anything positive or critical I would very much appreciate it

Thank you!

alright mate, this tune is wicked it deffo has potential in a club to take the roof off as others have said, maybe have another go at changing the lead synth but saying that as it stands its still a wicked track anyway. well done dude.

Strings are MASSIVE Quality is good too. Basslines sounds too primitive in the beginning but later sounds good. That uplifiter main synth is WICKED!! 10/8+ for sure!

Wow, nice intro. Very good strings. Bass souds also very nice. Melodie is also nice. Don't hear much percussion, but overall it sounds very good.
