Dried Magic Mushrooms

Does anyone know how to convert grams wet into grams dried and how long dry mushrooms will keep for? Iam thinking about buying a grow kit and need to know how much I can expect to grow and how long they will keep for.

If you get one of those sealing machines and keep em in the freezer they will last a long long time. I am not sure how u convert. I dont think I have ever heard anyone mention anything of the sort on that topic.

Good to know that they will last. What do you mean by sealing machines though?

i think that she means one of those vacuum sealers that you can see on infomercials.

And I know theres a conversion from wet to dry. www.erowid.org, or the shroomery (shroomery.com, i believe) would have that. Some one posted it here once, but I can't remember right now.

iirc, mushrooms are 80-90% water...so, adjust the weight according when they're dehydrated...

That's strangely worded. If you have 70 grams wet, then it's still "70 grams wet" if you blast it off to the moon, eat it, or dry it.

When it's dried, it should weigh around 7 grams. Usually a 10:1 wet:dry ratio is common when cultivating.
