The B-Side "Because..." is much better imo.

Excellent track. Goes nice in mixing with and External Key. 10/10

Superb track!!!!
When I first heard it I couldn't believe it was Lolo, because the tracks he made before were much more trancy! But he sure prooved that he can make quality progressive too... Go Lolo! Go Lolo!
9/10

Well if making progressive means taking someone elses track and modifying it a bit then, yeah, sure, go Lolo.

Everything nowadays is variation on variation ,... original is not an option anymore, everything is already been done,

Yes, but too much is too much.

I agree with you 110%. Although I do believe there are still few who try and push the limits of today's otherwise unimaginative scene.

Ok You're right, ... some producers still know how to be creative and find new things.

You do realize that "Why" is essentially a ripoff of "Xpander," right?

Wow, this song is incredible!! I think I might get this release, two quality songs IMO.

For those of you who havent heard the b-side, check it out!

Quality track. And for those who say it's a rip-off of "xpander", SO WHAT! Xpander was good and is this!

Posted by isoterra on Nov-17-2004 17:57:

I thought it sounded absolutely fuck all like xpander. And far from as good.

Not! Wait till you're a bit older lad and maybe you'll be surprised.

To reiterate my previous statement: this song blows. I didn't like Xpander either. Meh. The first couple of lolo tracks were pretty. L-Vee needs to do some different drugs.

Posted by idoru on Nov-18-2004 01:39:

7/10, for lack of originality.

Sasha - Xpander (Lolo Remix) would fit this tune better.

Posted by cristalclair on Nov-22-2004 22:22:

wow... i hadn't even realized how much why sounded like xpander at the same time, why only sounds similar to the beginning of xpander, it continues with the same melody, whereas xpander changes? at any rate, i think why is still a great track and i actually prefer it to xpander, it's more relaxed and mellow.

It's as much of a ripoff as Rank 1 - Airwave is a ripoff of System F - Out Of The Blue. Or how Out Of The Blue is a ripoff of Agnelli & Nelson - El Nino.

Here are a bunch of tracks which you'll be able to find the similarities in quickly:

Green Atlas - Circulation
Darren Tate vs. Jono Grant - Nocturnal Creatures
Afterburn - Winter Sun
Agnelli & Nelson - Hudson Street (New York Mix)
Ernst & Ben - Provider (Pulser Remix)
DJ Ernesto - Stop 9.5
Warrior - X
Jurgen Vries - The Theme
Jurgen Vries - Wilderness
Miachel Woods - Solex

Epic Trance is mostly nothing but ripoffs.

It's one thing to have similar style and melody pattern but when you copy a melody almost note by note it's a whole another thing.

None of those songs you mention are complete ripoffs, just similar sounding.
